Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa

This hotel takes you back in time - in all the best ways - including customer service. The accommodations were beautiful, and the service was amazing. Everything about our stay here was even better than we expected. I can't wait to get to go back again. WONDERFUL!

Came across this grand hotel while exploring the Mount Washington region, after a drive up to the top of the highest peak on the East coast of this continent. Did not know anything about the place, but drove in to see what was what. The first good surprise was that they had a couple of electric car charging stations in their parking lot ~ free, low-end and slow ones, but nevertheless…. Always a relief to see one and can avail of a boost. So, plugged in and adventured off into the grand, landmarked 1902 Spanish Renaissance building. The huge, 4-5 story building dominates the landscape, sprawling across acres and acres of rolling land and golf-scaped acres.. of course, the golf course is an award-winner and is writ large on the regional attractions list. Exploring the lux lobby and shopping arcades at the first and lower floor (public) levels, the first thing we discovered was that this hotel was the site of one of the most important conferences / meetings of the 20th century, the Bretton Woods Conference, where representatives of 44 countries convened before the end of WWII “…to establish regulations for the International Monetary Fund and the future World Bank !!” The meeting rooms in this structure are preserved as a monument to that event. Since we were not guests at the hotel, we were able only to see the public spaces and spend a relaxing couple of hours having a drink and snack on the expansive balcony behind the reception hall which overlooks the rear lawns and resort, against a magnificent backdrop of the mountains to the north. We ordered drinks and a snack from Rosebrook, which is the restaurant on this level, serving the rear balcony and the lobby: a glass of excellent, chilled Chenin Blanc, plus a Jungle Bird and shared an Artisanal Meat Board – both excellent and very delicious, while taking in the serene mountains and wind-swept silence. A very relaxing and educational couple of hours after climbing Mount Washington (by car… and the next day we took the cog railway back up, just for the experience... well worth it !)

We had such a great time at the Omni! The hotel has such good vibes. It feels very cozy and quintessential New England. All the staff we met were amazing. The girl checking us in upgraded our room to the presidential wing since we were celebrating my birthday. All the hotel food was fantastic, including the free food and drinks at the presidents club. Will definitely be back!

Everything was amazing. It was our first time visiting and we were blown away. We took the tour and learned so much. Very rich in history.

we stayed in room 100 which was gorgeous but we could hear lots of activity in the room just above us while trying to sleep. Otherwise a perfect stay!

overall amazing experience! all i can say is TREAT YOURSELF! the Mt Washington Omni is first rate and they make you feel it, in every aspect. We enjoyed every minute, every bite, and every ski run!

The overall ambiance of the property felt so special. So many spaces - all with beautiful views. Every staff member said “Hello”. The staff in the breakfast area were so genuinely friendly.

The historical tour is a must do, Ed was amazing. He kept us laughing and was very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and surrounding area. You can dress up or arrive in your ski gear, its a place to be on vacation in whatever style you choose.
