Hyatt Place Savannah Airport

Shuttle service from airport was fast & the driver, Nathan was excellent. Courteous, helpful and a great ambassador for the hotel & Savannah. Hotel is situated beside a nice restaurant, .Sam Snead’s. All the staff were very good

Our room was not cleaned after the first night. Breakfast quality was poor with little fruit, no infividual yoghurts and only Coffee Mate beside the coffee urn

Probably the worst experience our family has ever had on vacation. Heather Nugent GM, SHAME ON YOU! Couldnt get up after knowing how upset my family was at the conditions of your property!! Filthy dirty, old and run down...walk into our stinky warm room...first impression...door to bathroom wont shut...toilet wont flush...had to call to have fixed...beds look liks they are so worn out. Dirty bedding, walls filthy.. Rack holding towels broken and bent. Turn air on and the temp rose up instead of cooling off...family went to cool off in pool and walk up to a chained up door with a small dirty pool closed off!!! We hadnt been on property 30 minutes we decided to leave and asked for a refund and were told basically deal with it...no refund! Heather couldnt get off her butt to address the situation intead hid in her office. Nothing done to make a long time Hyatt member feel better..So angry you really left a bad taste in my families mouth for Savannah.. BEWARE! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!

We had a first floor room. There was plenty of room for parking. The room was spacious and clean.

The rooms didn't have individual microwaves. We wasn't aware construction would be going on at the hotel during our stay. On our way to the hotel (about 3 hours out) we were called for payment and was told if we didn't pay by 6pm it was a possibility that our reserved room would be given to someone else needing a room because they were having to turn people around due to rooms being sold out. I explained that I was driving and couldn't give him that information at the time and his response was drive safe but I would need to pay by 6. When I came to a stopping point I called the hotel for 1.5 hrs straight, but no one ever answered. I also reached out to the 800 number, they attempted to dispatch but I was connected to AI. When I finally arrived and explained the phone situation to the receptionist she stated "that weird" and never attempted to figure out what was going on.

This hotel had good reviews, so I decided to stop here after driving all day. The desk clerk told me they were renovating upper floors and that the elevator was not working. I took a first floor room. At first everything looked OK; the room was large with 2 TVs: one in bedroom and one in separate sitting area. However, I noticed that the sink was draining very slowly. I reported this to the front desk on my way out to dinnner and they said it would be corrected. When I returned, nothing had been done, but I was too tired to complain again, so I lived with it. Then I noticed that the window had a shade on it but no drapes - although there was a separate chain for drapes. The shower was in desperate need of renovation - I assume that this room would be renovated next...so why I was in it at full pirce is another issue. I will attach photos of gross looking grout in the shower. Also, the wall light was about to fall off (see photo). The next morning, neither one of the TVs was working. Maybe the remotes had bad batteries..?? Since I was leaving in about an hour I ignored this also. These issues had nothing to do with the cleanliness of the room, but to poor management and the decision to rent out rooms that were in the midst of renovation. I did not report these issues at check out as I do not believe that they were within the control of the front desk staff.

The hotel is looking worn. Needs some deep cleaning. Handprints on the wall, hair on the soap dish in the shower, breakfast area was horrific. Food was not appealing. Hot food was very greasy, avocado was not in proper holding container, tortillas were hard and not kept in proper container to keep them soft.
