Sebasco Harbor Resort & Golf Club

This place is beautiful, picturesque, unique, that being said it was a huge let down. Non of the activities at the resort were available when we went, pool was down, kayaks canoes filled with water, hiking = a stroll around a private road. For 370$ + a night it’s not worth it. Save yourself heartache, headaches and goto Spruce Point or Oceans gate over in boothbay both places deliver what this place advertises.

It’s a really nice resort. We went with family and had a great time. Bed was really comfortable. It was clean and very nice.

We went for 3 nights, we liked our room over looking the harbor and we were very glad we had AC as soon rooms don’t. It’s getting dated, tile grout is black in bathroom and wallpaper peeling. The pool was green and closed the entire visit but they did give us a discount for that. The restaurant on premises not too great. The views were great off our balcony and so quiet and peaceful.

The location was great and the grounds were beautiful. We loved the bowling, arcade, and kayaks.

We were really disappointed that the pool was closed all week long.

Our family lives in Maine and decided to take a quick overnight trip somewhere new. We found this resort, called and booked a room. We were told check in was at 4. We arrived promptly at 3:50. We asked about golf, pro shop closed at 4. We asked about kayak rentals or tennis, they said not available after 4. We decided to go check into our room where multiple bikes were laying in front of the steps to our cabin, not the biggest inconvenience but when adding to the experience it all adds up. We then go to eat dinner at the restaurant on site. Overall the experience was well but don’t order the fried chicken sandwich, it was a premade chicken filet you could buy from any grocery store. While sitting on the restaurant patio we could see the pool. We decide to go change after dinner for the pool. A water truck arrives so we wait patiently while they fill the pool more until we finally speak with someone who explains the pool wasn’t operational until maybe Sunday, which it wasn’t. This was not communicated when we called to book the room. If it was mentioned we may have chosen our other destination that we were looking at. We decide to go to the quarterdeck where one of our kids lost money putting in quarters and were told by the attendant they were unable to give any quarters back or operate the machine. We admit some of these things are minimal but when you add that this was all in one night within a few hour period and amenities that weren’t offered after check in, we were extremely disappointed. The positives were the included bike rentals, views, and clean rooms. We had a $25 resort fee returned for the pool from whom we assume was the owner, although this seemed minimal given the experience and just lack of communication prior to booking. Staff was friendly. We understand we only came for a day, but the experience should be pleasant and have the same offerings whether staying for a day or a week. Side note: Make sure you bring plenty of food/snacks as there isn’t much nearby for such items.

We stayed an extra night. Rooms were nice. Lots to do. We did not like the food, but everything else was great! Bonus was a pickleball lesson from Dennis - great instructor and time!

We spent 2 nights at the end of July at Sebasco Harbor Resort. Overall the resort is going through some transition pains. There were issues with the trash piled up, bicycles not working, and some of the buildings looking quite run down. We stayed in the Lighthouse and the room was fine. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well. The drain in the tub/shower was a little slow, but did work. With the lodging tax the room was over $400/night which I felt was a bit on the pricey side for what we got. It did have a great view of the harbor. We were able to check in about an hour early and were welcomed with a glass of champagne. Pastries and infused water were available in the lobby. We only ate lunch on site once at Ledges Pub. We sat at the bar because the wait to sit outside was 15 minutes, though there were empty tables. We had great service at the bar from Raymon and the food--salad with blueberries and chicken, and the chicken sandwich, were both good and reasonably priced. The golf course was a highlight! It had some interesting challenges and some beautiful holes. The fairways were good and the greens also in good shape. Some of the tee boxes could use some help, but overall the course was great and fun to play. We found almost every staff member we interacted with to be pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately the pool was not working when we were there and that was a big disappointment. We addressed our concerns with the Manager and felt our concerns were heard.

Beautiful location! Oceanside pool, lots of activities for kids and adults. Bikes, walking, tennis, pickleball, and golf.

No hot water in Main Lodge upon waking the first day. Called the front desk and no answer. Went down to find out if it was being repaired and they told me "soon". Was back when we returned later that day but no rate reduction was offered. Also the staff did not restock towels at the pool and the clean towels ran out at 3pm on a Friday. The resort seems to be poorly managed and maintained which is sad.

Wonderful family resort!! The kids loved the pool and all the Summer camp style activities. They were always having fun! The vintage bowling alley and arcade was fun for the not-so-grown-up adults. We also enjoyed biking around the property, the views are spectacular!!
