Hotel Vista del Mar

This is my wife and I's go to hotel for Cozumel. The price is right and the views and location can not be beat. The manager "Coral" is awesome. Coffee and cakes every morning along with a smile. Do not let the low price keep you from booking. Definitely a diamond in the rough. The pic is a view we have every day.

Stayed here for 5 days in September of 2020, The Hotel is Clean and Staff Very Friendly and Coffee delivered to room every morning, it is located within walking distance to everything in San Miguel, 3 blocks from the square and only a couple blocks to grocery stores and walking distance to several Restaurants, would stay here again.

Definitely splurge for the ocean view. This hotel is right by the water so the ocean views are unobstructed (minus for a few palm trees). The people that work here are friendly. The location is superb. There are 2 large supermarkets nearby and there are plenty of delicious restaurants in the area. The ferry to Playa is a 10 minute walk. The area is super safe and I had no problems walking around as a solo female at night. There is a water dispenser here for hot and cold water. The hotel provides free coffee in the morning. The only downside is that since the ocean-front rooms are right by the street, you can hear the car. The hotel isn't fancy but it has all the necessities. Wifi was good. AC was strong. Good shower pressure. TV and fridge. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very attentive and "safe" practicing Covid safety. Rooms were nice and view and sunsets were great

This place is a hidden gem. We were there for 12 nights. If you are looking for luxury go elsewhere but It was a great deal for the price.The rooms are big but basic. You will have a refrigerator but not microwave. The location is Great, walking distance to everything. The hotel provide you with personal wake up service and coffee. It was very laid back for me. If you are a simply person, then this place is great.

As always a delight. Clean rooms, lovely staff, beautiful ocean view and close to everything. I was happy to see that the staff and hotel have taken proactive measures on Covid. It was wonderful to be able to get away and relax after the last couple months. I'll be back of course

I like the location and the ocean view. My husband and I were one of the first guest since the reopening of cozumel. The staff very helpful and courteous. Very few stores open for shopping and not many restaurants were open but we never had any problems finding breakfast lunch or dinner.

Check in was excellent with the very friendly and thorough people. The hotel is older and quite basic but that is noticeable from the photos. We booked an ocean view room with King bed and it is just like the pictures show with an amazing view from the balcony. The room was very clean every day and a pretty big room too. We enjoyed the coffee, juice and rolls that we got delivered to our room at whatever time we asked for in the morning. Sat outside and enjoyed the ocean view and the street view below us. At night the street noise was at times noisy but that is to be expected because of the location. One thing to note is the restaurant on the main level is below this hotel so depending on where your room is you could get loud noise at times from it even late at night. Overall a great experience for the location and the price and that view!

Service and staff are excelllent as always. The room was large, clean and everything worked well. Great wifi service and the beds are comfy. Aircon is strong. The hotel is close to the center of town and an easy walk to get to everything. Delightful stay!!

Great staff friendly great location coffee juice and rolls in the morning was great
