Hotel Vista del Mar

Love that manager Aaron got back to us before arriving to offer direct rate better than on Booking.com AND ocean view. Sorry they seemed not able or willing to offer King bed and that the safe had been painted shut, requiring we take our valuables w/ us our 1st dive whilst they worked at making safe operable. Coffee and croissants, while okay for maybe 2 nights, got 'old'. That, lukewarm showers, walking up 4 floors ALL had husband eager to change hotels. IF you want great VIEWS at a wonderful rate, w/ pleasant and accomodating staff, THIS is a very good lodging choice.

It's not a luxury hotel but an excellent value. Our room was spacious and had a balcony facing the ocean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great location. Room could use an in-room coffee maker and the pool area could be more attractive. We'll stay here again some day.

It's all about the money you want to spend, I don't think you can get an ocean view this cheap within walking distance to town elsewhere. Beds were marginal, Room was big and fine, Shower was good, view was amazing as was the walking distance to centro. There is no elevator and limited staff as this is very small hotel, the pool looked adequate but we didn't use it. Coffee was delivered to our room daily as our wake up call. We parked the rental on the street and at a private lot a block away.

My wife and I Just returned from an awesome stay at Vista Del Mar. We stayed for nine nights (Oct 27th - Nov 5th, 2021) Our first time staying in town. We have been to Cozumel 7 times and have stayed in the North and South hotels. We were very happy with our choice! Coral and Aaron and the whole hotel staff go out of their way to take care of all of your needs. We loved the convenience and simplicity of this hotel. They are located 8 minutes from the airport. We were in our room within minutes after landing. They have a fresh cold 5 gallon water dispenser in the lobby that you can refill your water bottles throughout your stay. They offer coffee/tea with fresh rolls with butter and jam brought to your room daily a time that you choose. The daily maid service was outstanding. There is a small private pool out back on the second level. Nothing too fancy, but great for chilling out with a few drinks and taking a nice dip in a freshwater pool. It was great to explore all of the wonderful restaurants and bars of downtown Cozumel all within walking distance from the hotel. Our ocean view room was spectacular! I would not hesitate to check this hotel. The service and cost can't be beat. If you are looking for an all inclusive, tons of ammentities type of hotel you will need to check elsewhere. This is a very simple, clean, safe, friendly hotel located in the heart of downtown. We are already planning our next trip and will be staying at Vista Del Mar.

Great location where you can walk to town and all the downtown attractions

The staff was very friendly. The first day they helped us rent a scooter for $25 USD. The operator came to the hotel to meet us and walked us around the corner to rent the scooter. He was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips for our ride. We received a complimentary pot of coffee and crossiants each day delivered at whatever time we wanted. We had a waterfront room which was really pretty and traffic was not too loud in the evening with the air conditioner on all night.

Staff is amazing!! Great location!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was wonderful. Great location and amazing view of the ocean. Only complaint was that sometimes we ran out of hot water.

Flight was sold out so we booked a one night stay here and it was perfect. The check in was smooth and prompt, same as check out. The staff was super!!! Will come back and stay again.

The staff was great, small hotel but located in the heart of Cozumel. Close to everything beautiful views. Diego was awesome he was the night person on duty, helped us find scooters and sentus to the best taco place. A locals favorite. We will be back.
