Broadbeach Travel Inn Apartments

The apartment is in an awesome location and extremely close to all the attractions Broadbeach has to offer. Within walking distance of everything. The apartment itself is clean, spacious and has all the goodies required for an apartment. Enjoyed the gentle breeze when opening the windows!

No personal greeting and had to rely on a hotel phone which was out of order. Entry gained by phone call with further demand for credit card details before being allowed to gain access to the safe for keys. While credit card details are standard this should have been organized before. No personal attention is not suitable. Would not use the hotel again.

While the upgrades to the property in the last year have been good, some things let it down. For instance the lift is still smelly and needs a clean. The doors on our unit were in a shocking state of repair. The Broadbeach side of the unit was extremely noisy at night from the restaurant next to the property. Inside, some of the power points didn't work. Vehicle access was good - except the garage door had a spasm and came down on our hire car. This was reported but no follow up was received. The check in receptionist had a shocking, loud verbal altercation on the phone in front of customers which was very embarrassing.

Location, room, staffs & neighbours were all good!

The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed at had a huge living room and also very large master bedroom. The staff let us check in early which was much appreciated as we had to transfer accommodations. Let down was that fridge did not work, no free to air television (only Foxtel), and the pool was too deep for our 4 year old twins to enjoy. Our apartment looked quite dated, but that could be that we stayed in a cheaper room. This tram stop was a short walk away (even for the kids) and we could visit Southport. We also walked to Pacific fair not too far.

The apartment was OK but the bed was so hard I could hardly sleep, the glass coffee table caused issues as I kept knocking my knee on the corners, and the room was noisy with the TV on because of the floor tiles (which were not clean), The room had been refurbished at some stage but there were obvious signs of wear and so was looking rather tired, and there was mould on the shower ceiling.The building is noisy but that can't be helped as it is beside a major road and has a rowdy restaurant next door. The office staff were rather off-handed and the office wasn't open the hours advertised in the rooms.

Close to all places we wanted to go. Very quiet & had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again thank you

1. Hard to find as no signage on highway in which address is advertised. 2. Rooms clean and tidy. Comfy lounges 3. Beds not the best, pillows not great either 4. Lucky we had a camp bed in the car as the trundle beds were not at all comfortable. Hard to believe but a camp bed and the lounge was preferred. 5. Great location, close to Broadbeach amenities, Pacific Fair, Casino, and Exhibition centre.

We expected that, as this building is close to the highway, there would be traffic noise but it was much noisier than expected. The worst noise issue was apparent renovations taking place on the floor above us with workmen starting at 6am both Saturday and Sunday- an extraordinary way to get guests out of bed early! There was no signage on the highway frontage.

Check in times and instructions were confusing. Fridge had sticky spill inside which had not been cleaned off and there was long hair on floor in both bathroom and kitchen . Otherwise room was comfy and convenient for me
