Broadbeach Travel Inn Apartments

Unit was old but very spacious. Decor is tired but very adequate. Lack of basic maintenance caused issues. Main security door was off tracks and bent so could not be locked. Main glass sliding door has had covering strips near lock cut away and even when locked with key it was very easy to pull door back and lift locking hook up and open door - from either side. We had to rely on putting a broom behind glass sliding door for security. Advised management but nothing was done. This is a great concern when entry to lifts and units is not secure and basically open to the public. This would not be a major concern if the both doors locked properly. Bedroom is upstairs with no TV which was disappointing. Power point for fridge was hanging out of wall - safety issue. Curtains could not be closed fully to block out morning sun because several hooks were broken. Conditioning shampoo dispenser above the hand basin really amused us. However the units are very central and close to beach, public transport, Pacific Fair shopping, casino and restaurants.

Good sized roomy apartment. Well layed out with plenty of space. Great shower!! Great apartment for a family for lengthy stay. Enjoyed this apartment.

Not a good experience. Dirty room. Uncomfortable - incredibly hot - no AC in bedrooms which get direct sun. Smells No locks on windows... Considering you probably take a holiday rarely this is not the place to do it. I would have preferred camping.

A good stay for one to two nights. Best to bring own pillows.

Hotel staff excellent. Room needs to be maintained, walls damaged, carpet dirty, lights not working, overall room was shabby.

Very nice clean hotel walking distance to Pacific Fair and The Star casino. Would stay here again.

Parking station well away from lift, very difficult to r carry or move your overnight bags etc. No milk supplied in fridge, Half a roll of toilet paper for two people, are they rationing. Office was closed on Saturday after 1pm. Very noisy area, rubbish removal truck picks up each morning around 7am. Not able to get a good nights rest due to the continued traffic noise. Screen door key did not close door, broken lock. Bed was uncomfortable. Will not book this Broadbeach Travel Inn ever again. If you needed some assistance from office not there only for certain hours, office closed 1pm Saturday, when travels need to check in after 2pm no one there to assist only a phone number to ring.

Perfect place to stay for a night out at nearby Draculas. Close to shopping centre, casino and restaurants too. Plenty of parking at hotel. Had everything needed. Spacious bedroom and kitchen, plus enough room for two to chill out on the balcony. Great price. Only downfall was bed a little uncomfortable.

It’s a perfect location. Only thing aircon did not work in living room, Was clean and very nice .

We only chose this hotel as we wanted the extra room of the king bed described as my wife had had a recent medical procedure. When we arrived with a late checkin we found we only had a queen bed and had a very uncomfortable nights sleep. There was no night reception. When we complained about this in the morning and asked for some sort of refund we were told by the man at the desk that he was the new owner for only a week and could not offer a refund as previous bookings were covered by the previous owner which made no sense has we had only booked the night before and he made no effort what so ever to even look at the booking. The room also seemed to have little noise insulation.
