Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place

Nicely upgraded property. Very nice staff. Good restaurant and a Starbucks in the lobby.

Very roomy and clean.

Didn’t find the bed very comfortable. Was given free breakfast vouchers for signing up for a perks account but the breakfast area told us we couldn’t use them. Tried to charge $40 for two continental breakfasts. Was able to get it fixed with front desk but they tried to do it again with our other breakfast voucher the next day so we didn’t end up using it. Had to pay for parking in the lot which we didn’t know.

Too many hidden fees. Had to pay for parking had to pay and extra $50 for hold for damages but don’t get a whole refund. Had to pay for breakfast not included. Too many hidden fees in addition to paying a higher rate compared to other hotels in the area that are just as nice or nicer. Would not recommend!

Shower was dirty. No parking cost to park. Under construction. Staff not helpful.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the A/C in the room did not cool well. The parkimg deck is quite a hike to the front of the hotel where the elevators are, so that was a bit of a hassle.

Every time I stay there, staff is always very friendly, helpful & kind. It is also always very clean & presentable.
