Yosemite Valley Lodge

Clean, centrally located

Next to camping and, of course, the Ahwahnee, you can not ask for a better stay in Yosemite Valley.

Room very, very, very worn. We were in the Willow Lodge. Bedding really old and gross.. Bed hard as a rock. Bathroom was actually most recent update but that was probably 20 years ago.

The location

The property was cold and very dated. We had to pay $235 just to get in the park as we were non California residents - which I know is not connected to the Lodges but this is outrageous !!

We booked a Yosemite Valley Lodge Room for one night in 2025 and having researched the visit we expected to pay the park entrance fee of $35 on top of the hotel room cost. We turned up at the entry gate and we told we had to pay $100 each on top of the $35 entrance fee as we were not US citizens. If we had not already booked and paid for the hotel room I would have turned around and driven back the 4 hours to San Fransisco. The new entrance fees are a total rip off.

這間訂給長輩住，他覺得可以開窗就看到後院美麗雪景不用出門受寒很開心，剛好住的那棟門外不遠處就是shuttle bus站點，他心情好又有體力的時候就跑去坐一整圈看看風景玩耍，回來就逛逛禮品店買東西，吃飯也不用走很遠，他很滿意～
