Sandals Royal Bahamian - ALL INCLUSIVE Couples Only

The beach was beautiful, and the pool was excellent—these were the standout features of the hotel. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. The food quality was below expectations (4/10), the beer selection was extremely limited, and I returned home with bed bug bites. Overall, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

The cats were the best part. Please make sure they are fed and watered!

Location is good, diving is complementary

Butler service is crazy expensive but… totally useless. Food is average at best.

This was our first Sandals vacation and it was a great one. We enjoyed it enough to book another one for Barbados next April while we were there. The food was good for the most part. The seafood restaurant was under renovation while we were there which took over the lunch and dinner buffet unfortunately. Pool chair saving started at the ridiculous times between 5am-6am between the alarm setters and butlers who were first to swipe them with the room coolers. Kind of annoying but as long as we could grab one for our things we enjoyed being in the pool for the most part. Don’t expect a chair at the quiet pool at all unless you have a butler. Music from the dj at the LOUD pool plays the music so loud at times that you can’t have a conversation or just relax let alone be able to communicate with a bar tender at the pool bar so they screw up loads of drinks which really isn’t their fault with how loud they blast the music in these poor bartenders ears. Staff was very nice overall but don’t expect anything in a hurry cause they’re definitely on island time but so were we so life goes on. Their piece of a private island across the way (5 min. boat ride from their own pier) is a good grab for a half day or so with a pool, a calm, clean beach and water and a restaurant with a pool bar and patio bar as well. The lack of children at the resort is worth its weight in gold between all activities and restaurants. That alone is probably worth sticking to the Sandals business model. Book it.

Staff was awesome, resort was excellent. Food and drinks were amazing. My girlfriend and I had a great time!

What I liked the most was that they have options for everybody talking about places, pools … more laugh or more quite depending on what are you looking for and a lot of different options for food.

Great food! Great private island

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. We loved that the resort had everything we could want without being excessively large. Can’t wait to return!

What I like: I would like to give a shoutout to Jackie and Felecia from Kanoo. Rose from food truck. Ricardo, Ace, Joe and Nicer from Soy. The private island and all their staff are excellent. What I don’t like: 1. I checked out on 3/22/25 but the temporary $400 temp hold during check in hasn’t been reversed and it’s already 3/31/25. I already called to make sure I don’t get charged for anything I shouldn’t have. Customer service ensured that I wouldn’t be charged but hasn’t been reversed in my card. 2. Some of the staff are not nice and are sometimes rude. 3. Some of the food items run out too early and some bars/ food trucks close earlier than what is in the flyer. They are supposed to be open at the 11pm but they say they are closed at 10:30pm. 4. I called front desk to order refill water and sodas from mini fridge but nothing came until we checked out. 5. It’s hard to schedule appointments for restaurants. Culinary dept does not answer and we had to walk to the desk to schedule. It’s unacceptable. 6. Rice is not served in the restaurant and has to be requested which is very unusual.
