Sandals Montego Bay All Inclusive - Couples Only

Outstanding from the moment we arrived. Greeted with amazing hospitality, beverages, cold towels and a great orientation. Weather was perfect, just the right amount of people where it wasn’t overcrowded but enough to party. Amazing drinks from all bartenders and the entertainment staff was out of this world. Super Mario, Akeem, Chris, Queen Tangerine on the entertainment staff are phenomenal. Can’t wait to plan our next trip back!

Man we love Sandals Montego Bay for the people and the service. Just spent a week in June 17th 2025. Let me tell you the staff there will do anything to make your stay great. Huge shout outs to the housekeeping manager who got me a mattress topper installed to make my bed more comfortable. We always get a butler room to help us with getting to dinner and providing us with lunch on the beach. Also huge thanks to Jerome and Granville our butler team for setting up a cabana each day and providing us a cooler for drinks. The latitudes waitress Aneshia was so attentive to making sure we had cocktails on the half hour. I could not be more impressed with our housekeeper Candice who made our room perfect everyday and the attention to detail by leaving a note thanking us for staying was just a classy touch. The entire staff always wanted to make your vacation worth it. Some people say sandals is expensive I say it’s worth every penny. We met a couple at the airport who did not stay at an all inclusive like sandals and they spent just as much paying for drinks and food. I was literally right on the beach and it is amazing. Our travel agent Jen from Knit Your Average Events is in the know for all things sandals. She has stayed at every resort and knows the rooms to pick and the best views. When you have a travel agent who cares more about her clients than anything they work with the resort to make things perfect. We celebrated our anniversary there last week and the staff, butlers and our agent made it perfect. If you are on the fence about sandals then don’t go to Montego Bay because you will be hooked for life. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our third stay at this property. They make it feel like home away from home.

We have stayed at Sandals Montego Bay for years about 18 times since 2017. We've had the same butlers since Stevan McIntosh & Marvin Palmer. This just we took a short trip to Sandals Royal Caribbean where we had not stayed since 2013. We wanted to go over to Montego Bay for dinner at Soy & to hopefully see Marvin or Stevan. On arrival the front desk let me know Stevan was working. I asked her to let him know that the cat lady was on her way to Soy. Soy was EXTREMELY busy. They got hit all at once & Joel the manager was trying to get things back in order, but we stood there for a while, the Stevan arrived saving the day by getting us our fav table, water & cocktails. All we were hoping for was to say hi & a hug but instead got 5 star service. Dinner at Soy was excellent & our waiter Shemar? a stand out. When Joel caught his breath he came over to tell us hello as well as other guests. Thank you Stevan for your hospitality!

Beautiful resort. Beaches amazing - calm and warm ocean. Amazing service - every staff member from housekeeping, bar and restaurant had a smile and went the extra mile. Restaurants to recommend included, Soy (went twice) Butch’s and Tokyo Joes - plus the Jerk Shack always great for lunch. Shout out to our Butlers Mykal and Chyria, they set us up on the beach, sorted out requests and restaurant choices Top shelf liquors and superb cocktail service. Recommended for a relaxing couples break. Tip - get one of the swim up rooms if you like to swim in the morning in the pool or want some quieter pool time as the swim up pool is fun but quite small and gets lively.

The staff is amazing! Our butlers, Granville and Jerome worked so hard and were so attentive! They took care of everything we needed from a mattress topper to breakfast on the beach and every restaurant we wanted to eat in. Athena Brown from the spa was fabulous! Very pleasant and did a great job. I bought all the products she used plus a couple more. Then Venicea (spelling) was an awesome server. Very attentive. Kandiece our housekeeper is always great! She does an awesome job on the room! Overall we always have a great experience!

Staff was great. Akeem in the entertainment department was very helpful and nice. Welcoming and made the experience. Lady J also in the entertainment department was very knowledgeable.

The warm friendly and fun Jamaican people made us feel like family here. We went with two other couples for a birthday trip and from the second we arrived and were taken to the concierge lounge for a Caribbean Delight welcome cocktail we were blown away. We stayed in the Penthouse club level honeymoon room and the shower is so amazing I miss it already. It is huge with a rain shower in the ceiling and on the wall. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we slept like the dead every night. The room was cleaned daily while we were out and towels were refreshed twice daily, the second time at turn down service. The robes and slippers in the room are a luxurious touch and we enjoyed them. I did not pack any body wash, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion as I knew it was provided in the room by the Red Lane Spa line. It was not disappointing and if you run out, you leave a little note asking for more. The housekeeping staff gave me 6 or 7 lotions when I asked. The lobby bar is gorgeous with ocean views and gentle breezes to keep it cool. We went in June, so the resort was not crowded and we had no trouble getting pool or beach chairs, reservations, or into any walk in restaurant. The second day we went fishing with the Island Routes and the sea was rough, but we caught two Mahi Mahi and the staff took them to a chef who prepared them for us in three traditional Jamaican dishes. We did tip the boat staff and chef. I was very skeptical of the silent disco, but it was a lot of fun. The piano pool bar was crowded and the people there were more partiers where the main pool and beach was more relaxed. Our husbands played pool volleyball and had a blast with Crazy Chris who lead the game. The over the water bar Latitudes was always empty and quiet, the view was stunning. The food on the resort is great. I am not a buffet person, so we did room service for breakfast mostly, my personal favorite was the smoked salmon with red onion, capers, and cream cheese on a toasted bagel with fresh fruit. I enjoyed the little Paris Cafe for a coffee in the afternoon and did indulge in a Nutella crepe one day and it was absolutely delicious. The beach bartenders are fantastic! Several were told by guests that they wanted something not too fruity or sweet with a certain liquor and they were able to whip up a yummy delight for them. I asked for one and was thrilled with my beverage. We got a beach cabana one day and it was totally worth it. It comes with a butler for the day. Natoy served us breakfast by the ocean, grabbed drinks, sushi, and arranged a Hobie Cat ride with Leon, who sings merrily as he drives you around the water! He made the trip so much fun. Natoy was so personable and I know it was his job, but he made us feel like it was his pleasure to help us. It was one of the best days that I will remember forever! Soy and Butches were excellent. By the last day we were sad that we were leaving paradise but also sad to leave the amazing people who took such good care of us and made it their personal mission to make sure we had a great Jamaican vacation. Dijone in the concierge was so helpful our whole trip and gave us big hugs when we left and she was just so sweet and friendly. Peta Gay the bartender who has the most beautiful smile and jubilant personality is one to look for. Stephen the bartender makes a fantastic dirty martini. We truly felt like family here and we booked a return trip to Jamaica with Orianne before we left! You will want for nothing at Sandals Montego Bay. If you want or need something, just ask! It is impressively clean and well maintained, especially since it is the flagship Sandals built in the 1980's. I can't wait to go back to Sandals in Jamaica!

My recent stay at Sandals Montego Bay was overall a beautiful and relaxing experience. The resort itself is stunning—well maintained, clean, and truly gives off that luxurious tropical escape vibe. The room I stayed in was excellent—comfortable, stylish, and offered everything I needed for a perfect getaway. However, I believe there is room for improvement in the area of customer service, particularly with the security team. I’ve noticed across several resorts that security personnel can sometimes come across as unfriendly, and unfortunately, that was my experience here as well. It’s important that all staff, including security, align with the hotel’s high standards of hospitality and service. The check-in process also left a bit to be desired, as the front desk staff member I encountered wasn’t very welcoming. First impressions matter, and I hope this is something that can be improved. On a more positive note, the bartenders were wonderful—friendly, engaging, and added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I also want to acknowledge the staff working in the public areas at night, who were warm, courteous, and helpful. Despite a few bumps in the service, I truly enjoyed my stay. The beautiful setting and wonderful amenities make Sandals Montego Bay a place I would definitely revisit.

We had such an amazing time! The staff made the trip so enjoyable! The entertainment team kept the party going! A huge shout out to Akeem, Crazy Chris, Super Mario, Shania…they were so friendly, lively and went out of their way to greet you. The butler team was also phenomenal! Shout out to Horatio (butler manager), Carlene and Navaldo! They went above and beyond for us! With the Loyalty team, Stone was so helpful with helping us book Royal Barbados for New Years 2027 into 2028. And lastly, Latoya from the guest relations team! She was amazing! Definitely recommend coming here! Will definitely be back.

I believe there are some injustices in the entertainment at sandals Montego Bay. There are two performers that both show good performing skills and both can sing. We saw them on the first night and never saw them again. The two performers we saw every night we got tired of listening to them when we know they have more performers. Those performers that we want to see more of are Davia and Akeem. We don’t think it’s fair that they have to be put on the shelf while the two other people that didn’t even know the lyrics to certain songs do the show every night. I spoke with the general manager Chris Elliot and I hope when we return that we’ll see more of Davia and Akeem cause we know what we’re going to get from them, Pure entertainment! Otherwise from that the other singers whom I speak of Remone and Tasha are actually good but they’re not good performers like Davia and Akeem. The food could be a bit better. We want more authentic Jamaican cuisine. Overall good experience but we know it could be more.
