Sandals Montego Bay All Inclusive - Couples Only

I cannot say enough good things about this resort. Great food, drinks, and comfortable rooms. The property is beautiful and clean. My favorite part of my stay was making friends with the wonderful staff who went above and beyond. They are without a doubt what made this trip so memorable. Special shoutout to our friends on the entertainment team- Tasha, Akeem, Yahshawn, Lady J, Javane, Ramone, and Jordan. At the main pool, Rushane took exceptional care of us. I can confidently say that our vacation wouldn’t have been the same without them. Until next time.

The transfer from MBJ was chaotic and poorly organized - granted that a lot of flights arrived simultaneously. The resort grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The staff was 90% friendly and cordial. A few of the waitresses were somewhat bitchy. The beach was very nice and well staffed. The room we stayed at was a beachfront walkout honeymoone butler suite. It was clean and well maintained. The shower was the best I've ever experienced. The workout area was fairly well cooled and most of the machines were functional. The food was somewhat disappointing given that we have been to almost every Sandals resorts. In the pub, the mushy peas on the fish and chips entree consisted of less that a teaspoon of green mush. The steaks especially were thin and gristly. Our burlers took good care of us, but unlike other resortts, they weren't shy about mentioning tips. Somewhat disappointing. Overall, I wouldn't go back as there are much better Sandals resorts to visit.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon and had the absolute best experience. I cannot say enough about the staff. They truly made our trip so fun and special. Specifically, the entertainment staff. Akeem, Lady Tasha, Lady J, Yahshawn, DJ Javi. Also, the bartender, Rushane, at the main pool took care of everyone constantly. We definitely will be back.

Such an enjoyable trip with such friendly staff. The complementary snorkeling was so beautiful. Drinks awesome, food awesome, Akeem in entertainment was our bestfriend the whole time!! He should win an award.

this is the best sandals by far, it has such a mixture of younger and older crowds and everyone made us feel so welcome especially akeem in entertainment he greeted us right away we played volleyball, pool, and had amazing talks. crazy chris in entertainment made us laugh with his awesome dance moves and great personality. dane at the piano/swimup bar was by far the best bartender and danced talked and truly acknowledged us. every single employee here goes above and beyond i definitely recommend!!

This was a trip for our honeymoon!! I am so happy we stayed at Mobay!! It had very lowkey vibes, but there were moments that felt like a party which was perfect. My husband and I are not the constant party type of people, but we do enjoy one every now and then. We booked a butler suite and our butlers Marvin and Steven were phenomenal!! We would come off the beach to a nice soaking tub with flowers and towel animals that I didn’t want to mess up. The beach was absolutely wonderful, and the staff are amazing at making sure you are good on drinks or if they could get you another. There were several times drinks would just be brought around for anyone who felt inclined to try a new drink. I will say the staff and sandals in general were absolutely phenomenal, however, we booked two excursions that would take us outside of the resort. First, we did Chukkas which offers a variety of things to do: ziplining, river tubing, bamboo rafting, etc. The ziplining was great, the staff were funny, and I would absolutely do it again, the river tubing was just okay. It wasn’t a long trip, you get a few rafting moments, but it is very much short lived and you can definitely get attacked by mosquitoes (so wear bug spray). The second excursion was the reggae catamaran with snorkeling. At first it was great!! We then made a stop to pick up 60+ people from another resort that was unexpected. More than half of these people did not participate in snorkeling (which is fine, but a waste of money imo) and once the included lunch was mentioned, these people took it upon themselves to indulge in the food and not leaving enough for the rest of the boat (I’m talking 5 chicken fingers per one singular plate) you would have thought it was a buffet. We stop at margaritaville next and it is party central (if that’s what you are looking for then great, we just weren’t.) (I’m also a big parrot head, and jimmy buffet was not played one singular time while we were there; it was solely party music, again if that’s your jam then great! Not for us). For the money we paid to go snorkeling on a catamaran it was not worth it imo. Sandals offers a snorkeling boat (for free) where you go with maybe 10-12 people for about 30 min to another coral reef and you can see more than what we did. I would highly recommend that. Now, my favorite part of this trip was the main bar area. There were several events that took place here, but we stayed for the bartenders. My husband and I made really good with two of the bartenders, Marlon and Rayon who were absolutely phenomenal. They made their special drinks and they shared the culture of Jamaica from the perspective. It was an amazing experience to learn from them and what their life has been like. They never left our glasses empty and they were truly the best part of our entire trip. We hung out with them for last 4 nights of our trip and I wish we would have found them sooner. They know how to make a good time and keep the good vibes going. Aside from the excursions, mobay was absolutely phenomenal and I never wanted to leave. It was an experience like no other and I can’t wait to go back. I was 100% living my best life and I am already counting down the days until we come back!!

I came to this resort in 2008 and alot has changed. The property has been remodeled, our room was beautiful the interior was nicely updated. The butler service has been washed down. One butler has too many customers. We didn't get that intimate service like before. The food was mid. The bartenders especially terryann and rayon were amazing. The entertainment staff especially Akeem, lady j and Jordan were chefs kiss. They made it worth the trip. The entertainment staff is the reason why we would come back.

Our experience was 5 out of 5. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. The entertainment cre was alway on point. Super Mario, Akeem l, Crazy Chris, Lady J, Queen Tangerine and so many more always made sure we where having fun, had plenty of of drinks, food and whatever else we may have needed. It amazes me how they remember EVERYONE by name and I mean everyone. Jada and Damain the most amazing bartenders .

Sandals Montego Bay is an absolute must if you are planning on having a Jamaican vacation. The staff are all welcoming and caring for your every need. The entertainment team, led by “Queen” Gerine made the entire experience a 10/10. Whether it was playing volleyball with Akeem and Shania, horse racing with Davia and Crazy Chris, or having a dance party with Super Mario and Lady J, there was not a single moment of our trip that didn’t feel amazing. The sheer plethora of activities offered at this resort is worth every cent.
