The walls were so thin that we could hear people talking in the room next door and in the hallway. It was not worth the money.

This hotel used to (past tense) be a favorite of ours. Many good memories there over the years. This time the stay was so bad that we checked out early and went home. First room had a lovely view of "the hole" where the convention center used to be.....along with the accompanying construction noise. They moved us to a freeway view room (Really? The best you could do for a repeat guest and Diamond member at a low occupancy time?) It was however better than the hole so we stayed. Stopped at the bar that evening for a relaxing drink. The bartender only said "what do you want?" Never another word even when we talked to him. The early the next morning the sounds of drills and hammers started. Called the front desk they said "there is no construction in the hotel" to which I promptly told them how can they not hear it on the phone. It was a play on words.... Technically in the hotel maybe not. In the residences right above our room andbthe entire wing we were on.... absolutely. I took a recording of the sound down to the front desk and checked out. They at least did not penalize us for leaving early. For that I gave a star. Their easy access self park garage is still a plus. That is the second star. The executive lounge is also missed.... I know thats something from a bygone era (pre COVID) in the US but indeed we still miss it. Why call those top floors executive floors when there is no Executive Lounge. Overall..... Definately not the way we wanted to celebrate a birthday. Horrid views, noise, noise, and more noise. Time to find something better in Austin. 😭

Acomodações, conforto e amenities são muito boas

Não tem café da manhã, o local que oferecem como opção para café não é compatível com o nível do restante do hotel. O atendentes apesar de educados são muito tapados… tem dificuldade de resolver problemas simples. E por fim, meus lençóis estavam sujos na noite em que cheguei.
