"GREAT trip"

8.0

Phenomal week as a family of 4 (kids 12 and 9). Food was lackluster but everything else made up for it. Truly the most beautiful beach. Did the resort snorkel trip in the morning and were lucky enough to see a Dolphin play around close to us ! Simone at the Italian bar makes a tasty dirty GIN martini !!

"Unforgettable Family Vacation — Everything We Hoped For and More"

10.0

We just returned from an incredible stay at Beaches Turks and Caicos, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a beautifully renovated room in the Seaside Village, which was absolutely ideal for our family of four. We have two young daughters (ages 4 and 6), and the layout worked perfectly. The separate bedroom had its own balcony, while the living area had a second balcony, a small fridge, and a pull-out couch. The pull-out was surprisingly comfortable and worked very well for the kids. Having the extra space and separation made the stay far more relaxing for everyone. The resort itself is amazing and offers an unbelievable amount to do. We spent a lot of time on the beach, but also enjoyed the pools, all of which were great. Our favourite was the Caribbean Pool closest to the Seaside area, though every pool we visited was well maintained and fun. Our girls absolutely loved the Sesame Street character experiences. Every show they attended was enjoyable, but the street party and parade were the highlight of the entire trip. Getting to meet all the characters was truly magical for them. We also spent quite a bit of time at the water park, which was a huge hit. Our 6-year-old tried the surf simulator for the first time on a boogie board and didn’t want to stop — easily one of her favourite memories from the vacation. The staff throughout the resort were fantastic — friendly, patient, and incredibly accommodating with children. It really shows that this resort is designed with families in mind. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations for an all-inclusive. We especially loved Arizona’s since we’re big Tex-Mex fans, but all of the restaurants we tried were very good. Our hibachi chef at Kimonos was a bit more subdued compared to others we saw during our stay, but the food itself was great. Our 6-year-old loves sushi, so we ended up dining there twice. We also tried a couple of excursions. The glass-bottom boat was just okay, but the snorkeling was a lot of fun. I went twice with our 6-year-old, and it was a great shared experience. One extra note — our Seaside location was right next to the new Treasure Island area, which looks very close to completion. It’s exciting to see how much the resort continues to invest and expand. Yes, Beaches Turks & Caicos is expensive — but it delivered incredible family memories that made it completely worth it for us. We actually put a deposit down on our next trip before leaving; now we just have to figure out when we’re going back. Highly recommended for families looking for a truly special vacation.

"Nice place, but not worth it"

6.0

I went to Beaches, Turks & Caicos to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday with the whole family. None of us had ever been to Turks & Caicos before and we were very excited for the trip. When we arrived at the resort, we were stunned. The grounds were beautiful, the beach looked like a postcard, and the weather was absolutely perfect. The longer we stayed, though, the more we realized that this is unfortunately not the tropical idyll we thought it was. We booked two separate rooms, both in the Caribbean Village. My sister and her family had a very spacious, modern room near the beach, but the room I shared with my mother was less so. Very outdated furniture and decor, not to mention our safe was broken (we called someone to fix it and it was still broken) and the sink in the bathroom leaked onto the floor. If this was a normal all-inclusive resort (like many others I've been to), I probably wouldn't even mention these minor issues, but since the cost of this place is WAY more than other place I've stayed at, I thought it would be noticeably better; that is not the case. More disappointing than the room, however, was the food. "Aggressively mediocre" is probably the best way to describe it. The only meals that stood out as being exceptional were the dinners at Le Petit Chateau and Soy. The drinks were also very hit-or-miss. One of the ways Beaches justifies its absurd prices because more activities are included in the overall price than other all-inclusive resorts. This is an illusion. One activity my family wanted to partake in was the glass bottom boat tour. The first time we tried to book it, we were told it was broken. The next time, that we filled out the wrong form (which was given to us by the resort). Finally, on our last day, that all the tours are booked, but we should try again tomorrow. In addition to this dancing around, I have never actually seen anyone on this mythical boat. I sat on the beach every day when I was there and while there were many boats on the water, I didn't see any boats that could reasonably be this glass boat bottom. Overall, the best parts of my experience here had nothing to do with the resort itself, but rather with the gorgeous location of Turks & Caicos. I was hoping for a luxury experience since they charge luxury prices, but of the dozen or so all-inclusive resorts I've stayed at in the Caribbean, this was by far the most disappointing and the only one I would never recommend.

"Fun and easy family vacation"

10.0

We stayed here as a family and found it very convenient for traveling with kids. There were plenty of activities throughout the day, so everyone always had something to do without needing to plan much. The beach was clean and easy to access, and the resort felt lively but well organized. Meals were straightforward with lots of options, which made dining with children simple. Overall, it worked well for a relaxed family vacation where everything is in one place.

Amazing color and clean Good weather, does rain some but that’s okay. Some areas have cute doggies running around. I hope and pray the Turk government takes care of them 🙏❤️. I do think there is a doggie shelter.

"Worst value for money in over a decade of Family Travel"

2.0

We paid $6,000 for four nights at what’s marketed as a five-star resort. Beaches placed us in a suite directly next to active construction on all sides, with a view directly into portable toilets and constant noise from early morning to night. Fire alarms from the site also went off repeatedly during the night, making it hard for our children and us to sleep. Despite written confirmation weeks earlier that our room would be far from construction, there was no proactive communication or meaningful resolution. Customer service took over a month to respond and ultimately offered a single-night voucher under restrictive legal conditions we declined, as we have no intention of returning to Beaches. Easily the worst experience and poorest customer follow-up we've encountered in more than a decade of family travel.

"Family Vacations at Beaches Have Run Their Course"

4.0

I rarely write reviews, but when I do, they are positive. I strongly believe negative reviews can be incredibly damaging to businesses, and until now I’ve never felt compelled to write one. Unfortunately, this experience warrants honesty. Before anything else, I want to give an enormous thank-you to our butlers, Alex and Jadae....they are the reason for an additional star and not just one! They truly made our vacation. They were kind, attentive, fun, and consistently went above and beyond to help us. Every staff member we encountered worked extremely hard and was genuinely lovely. None of what follows is a reflection of the frontline employees — they were wonderful. My boys enjoyed interacting with all of them and they had a fantastic time. The issues lie entirely with management and corporate decisions. We have been loyal Sandals/Beaches guests since 1996 and have traveled to Beaches Turks & Caicos several years with our family and lots of friends. One year our group had 62 people from home there. This year, we were told we had earned a “free” week. I want to be very clear for future guests: this is not free. It is based on an average of past stays and only applied to my husband and me, despite the fact that we have traveled with our entire family for years. We have previously stayed multiple times in the Key West 4-Bedroom Villa, but understandably our “average” would not cover that category in 2026. We instead booked a 2-Bedroom Seaside Villa, which is advertised as accommodating eight people. In reality, it does not. We arrived with six people and it was already extremely tight. Midweek, my mother and aunt joined us for four nights, bringing our total to eight guests. Knowing space would be an issue, I inquired about upgrading for those four nights and was fully prepared to pay — I know better than to expect anything free here. The quote I received was staggering: $29,000 for four nights. To put this in perspective, our average stay value was around $30,000, and we had already paid an additional $7,000 for our family. We were already in for $37,000 — and they wanted another $29,000 for four nights. I found this not only insulting but borderline predatory, especially given our decades-long loyalty and the hundreds of thousands of dollars we’ve spent with this brand over the years. The back-and-forth negotiations dragged on for two full days of our vacation. Eventually, they offered either $12,000 for the 4-Bedroom Villa or $6,000 to split our family, placing two people in the lowest category Caribbean room. At that point, I had an epiphany: I was done. We chose to pack everyone into our existing villa for four nights. It was uncomfortable and chaotic with 4 boys (18-21) but I refused to give them another dollar — and I will never give them another dollar again. What made it even worse was knowing that the 4-Bedroom Villa sat empty the entire time. Letting it sit vacant rather than offering a loyal family a reasonable upgrade speaks volumes about their customer service and business practices. Beyond this situation, it’s impossible to ignore how dated the resort has become. It feels run-down, and the food was consistently disappointing. Had this not been our so-called “free” trip, I would have been absolutely furious paying full price for this experience. My advice: spend your money elsewhere. There are far better options at a fraction of the cost. For example, the Hyatt Ziva in the Dominican Republic is cleaner, newer, has better food and drinks, and costs about half as much. This review pains me to write — but after nearly 30 years of loyalty, it was necessary.

"Our Destination Wedding & Family Trip in Paradise!"

10.0

Our Wedding in Paradise .. We've been together a long time (17 years) and when we finally decided to get married we knew there was only one place we wanted to be - we LOVE the Caribbean! A week before Christmas, we said our "I Do's" in paradise at Beaches Turks & Caicos! We said our personal vows surrounded by 31 of our closest friends and family (truly the people we love most in the world) beachside near the turquoise water we love so much .. The whole day was just incredible! .. and for a little while, I wasn’t focused on clients, or work, or the kids, or the dog, or the house. For those precious hours, the only thing that mattered was US. It really was more beautiful and special than I could have ever dreamed. Our destination wedding took place at Beaches Turks & Caicos in the beachfront Schooner’s gazebo - this beachfront location is the perfect mix of tropical gardens with gorgeous aqua-water backdrop, and I've had my eye on this location from previous visits. The ceremony was only about 20 minutes long, but I will never forget a single second. With our 2 adult girls at my side, we were driven to the location in the wedding “chariot,” and walked the "aisle" along with the girls and our 2 adult boys, to a piano version of “Marry Me” by Train. When I looked at my fiance's face full of love as I walked down the aisle, and really took in that moment, it almost stopped me in my tracks lol … it’s something I’ll hold in my heart forever. The late-afternoon time was perfect. Just a gentle, reassuring breeze, and the absolute ideal 3:30 pm light as we exchanged our personal, hand written vows (his were better than mine, lol). The pastor spoke about real, natural love - the kind that isn’t forced, the kind that simply *is* - he totally nailed it because that is exactly who we are. We were pronounced husband and wife and walked out to “I’m a Believer,” (yes, from Shrek lol) and after a few group photos our guests headed to a cocktail hour with drinks, small bites, and a live steel pan drummer. Meanwhile, we took photos on the beach with the kids, and then it was time to start the PARTY. Our sons entered to “Thunderstruck,” and our girls to “Dancing Queen,” and then we made our entrance to “This Thing Called Love.” We ate, we drank, we danced the night away... The night was perfect. And having several days before the wedding meant we got to spend real time with our friends and family - not just a couple of quick hours. It was all SO MUCH FREAKING FUN. I will cherish these memories forever. As you can imagine, I HIGHLY recommend a destination wedding here! Everyone at Beaches was awesome. They make it so easy and stress free. I got everything I wanted - I customized our menu, our music, our tables… everything. I feel like it was also unbelievably reasonable, even with some upgrades, and the entire event staff was outstanding. Our servers, bartenders, photographer, DJ, planner, and wedding team gave us exactly the day we dreamed of. And I'd like to give a shout out to some VERY special folks .. Sushane our Pre-arrival Wedding Planner was fantastic. She is full of life and positivity, and she never once got annoyed with me when I forgot to do something or get back to her in a timely manner. She was patient, and kind, and despite the effects of hurricane Melissa on her own life our pre arrival calls were always about me and the wedding and always uplifting and exciting .. she was great! Shineya - our On-site Wedding Coordinator - We first met Shineya at our arrival meeting where we went over EVERY detail of the wedding, and she helped us understand how the day would go and allowed us to make some changes and confirm decisions .. Shineya is a total professional who knows her stuff, and I felt we were in very good hands. She made our day extra special by arranging some surprise table enhancements and I really appreciated her staying nearby through out the whole wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. She is amazing! Ramon - our Photographer - We first met Ramon at our arrival meeting. He was very nice but you never know how good a photographer is going to be until you see their photos right??? WELL let me tell you we LOVED LOVED LOVED our photos so much that we purchased an extra 40 about our package of 95 lol .. Ramon is a fantastic photographer and we were so lucky to have him! .. Ramon, "hold it! hold it" LOL. Chin - our DJ - We first met Chil at our arrival meeting too. Chin received my selection of "must play" songs prior to arriving, and when we sat down to go over them he made many suggestions based on what we sent him and every suggestion was exactly what I'd want played - he totally nailed the music that night, and we had the entire group up dancing from the minute they finished dinner! We were all having such a good time that we even extended an hour past our time .. I would highly recommend anyone reading this request him for your wedding DJ! Our Chef/Servers/Bartenders - Our Chef for the wedding was Daniel (delicious amazing chef from Sky) - Petrina & Decalva are servers from Sky Restaurant, and Javon & Shamor are bartenders from Sky & HabbiGail from Arizona's .. We met these lovely people at the restaurants on our last visit and fell in love with them! Not only are they fantastic servers & excellent bartenders, we realized they are GOOD People. The kind of people we wanted at our wedding! We got to chatting and explained we were having our destination wedding there and asked if we could request them and they said we could, so we did - AND THEY CAME!! Not ONLY did they all do a great job which of course we knew they would, they were all SMILES, and super fun, and even got into our music! They really seemed like they were having as good a time as we were!! We even made them come up and dance with us! They brought such great energy and a positive presence that really enhanced the party .. And omg JOEY the bartender - he's got the moves and really got the group going! I am so grateful to all of these wonderful people! If a destination wedding is in your heart or someone you love is thinking of it, please consider doing it at Beaches! .. and please don't stress or sweat about the little things, because they got you. .. It was the best decision we made to celebrate the most important, special day of our lives here. xo Cheryl (from New York)

"Turks and Caicos - Christmas at Beaches Resort"

10.0

We recently vacationed at the Beaches/Sandals resort in Turks and Caicos. We took our family here for Christmas. We had a wonderful time at this resort. We stayed in Key West Village in the two story/two bedroom units. They worked perfectly for our family of 13 (adult 'kids' and grandkids). The units, the grounds, the restaurants....were all so nice and very clean. We felt very safe everywhere we went. The staff is so friendly and just amazingly accommodating. Good food at the restaurants. There were just too many people to mention but here are a few... Coco at the Caribbean Loyalty office. She was so much help with questions we had around managing our Sandals account. The Reflections restaurant was our favorite breakfast spot and the Seafood Feast dinner was great....Vanesha was our favorite. She met us with a smile and was so accommodating. We spent a lot of time on the beach but also enjoyed time at the Italian Village pool. Damano at the Italian Village bar is the best! He made the best drinks! Plus he always had a smile and friendly conversation. We really enjoyed him. We paid extra to have a private family Christmas dinner on the beach/Arizona Boardwalk. So worth it! This was exceptional! We had 3 private waiters and our own private bar! Great menu. I feel very badly that I did not get the names of the 3 guys that waited on us! We also had a boat cruise that we booked through the Island Routes desk. We went on Caribbean Cruising with our crew being Jerry and Evans….they were GREAT. The crew made every effort to help us see and do the things we asked. The light lunch was great and it was overall just a really nice experience.

"Always a pleasure! Staff go above and beyond"

10.0

Absolutely love when we can get away to Beaches at Turks and Caicos. You can find whatever fits your style with the energetic areas like Italian Village or the chill area like Carribean village. Carribean has become our favorite but really you can't pick wrong and you are close to everything. If you read the post about being required to buy a bottle of wine to eat at al a carte restaurant on New years eve - that is incorrect. You don't have to pay for anything extra that you aren't interested in. They were offering special bottles of wine for New Years eve at extra cost (with some of proceeds going to the charity Sandals Foundation) but you were allowed to enjoy your night with the included drinks. And they will make virgin drinks and mocktails that are great too. We never have had a bad experience and want to share the special attention that the staff give. We were celebrating our daughter's 20th birthday and they made her feel like a star. You've got to Schooner's - one of our favorites for breakfast or dinner. And they have a great birthday song that will make you smile. The hostess at Schooner's gave us a night that we couldn't have done without her special attention - thanks so much Scateline. She is just another reason we look forward to a trip in a couple of years back to Beaches.
