Room was too tight for three guests.

I was in Glasgow for a night to visit friends and booked this due to it's location, free parking and low price on a Sunday. It had everything I needed and more - bar restaurant was available but not used and vending machines in lobby - and the room was clean, functional and quiet. My only comment was that I thought the shower room was a bit tatty, looking like it could do with a re-paint, but it was clean and functional which was all I needed for an overnight visit where I was out and about most of the time, but probably would have been more of a disappointment if I was visiting a new place on holiday as a treat, or planning to spend longer, or had paid more, but overall was satisfied with my stay.

Ideally placed for Armadillo concert. Friendly reception staff Room tiered with toilet seat broken at bolts on the back Functional and did what we needed for our overnight stay.

Really only one dislike and that was the food was served at breakfast in large portable food warmers. Not hot enough and quite cumbersome. Toasters that did not work, only one side toasted the bread. The apple juice was watered down. Everything else was excellent

Hotel is very old inside and needs to get a up grade.window in our room was held in place with silver tape .

Great price, no fuss

Our room had a number of faults which were reported to the night receptionist. I also contacted the morning supervisor who was extremely helpful and advised on how to complete the complaint and rebate form. This has ben forwarded and will be responsed to in roughly two weeks. The staff, as always, were pleasant, infromative and helpful. The breakfast was first class with a wide choice of foodstuffs to suit all tests. We have used the Cakpanile hotel before and enjoyed the rooms, food and staff. We sincerly hope this is a one off ocurrance.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Service at reception on arrival good. Service at bar reasonable. Room very basic towels supplied for 2 individuals less than acceptable. Definite smell off bed sheets although clean enough My opinion would be that for one night it was average however couldn’t say I would return
