Hilton Garden Inn Irvine East/Lake Forest

Nothing we’ve stayed at other Hilton hotel properties and this was nothing like a Hilton

Everything , from expired permits on elevators to foul smell coming from water faucet in bathroom of room.

Can not say enough great things about this hotel and its staff. We were in town and needed to extend our stay twice. We stayed a total of three weeks at this property. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The whole hotel was clean and safe. We would definitely stay again if we ever find ourself in the area.

My stay was very comfortable,

One night stay, arrived late. Plenty of parking in a well-lit and tidy lot. Felt safe unloading the car. Check in and out was smooth and efficient, staff was very courteous. Hotel and room was clean though some scuffs and wear were visible. Room was good-sized with enough storage for luggage and still move about. TV or remote didn't work, but arrived late enough to just get to sleep. Bed was comfortable enough and room was quiet, so had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was not included, we chose to visit a local coffee shop nearby. This was a good stay, met all the basics for a good night's rest, but just typical of other HGI experiences and other hotels of class. Worth a return stay at the right price.

Elegant property with clean rooms and good value. Joanne, the receptionist, was very kind and professional, and went out of her way to accommodate our needs! She's excellent!

A different receptionist (woman) on the Monday night shift was very disrespectful and inattentive, and also offered no acknowledgement or greeting on another occasion.

My biggest complaint about this hotel was that the bedding was very uncomfortable. The blanket over was very rough and the sheets were old rough. I couldn’t get a good night sleep.

No Soap /shower gel available in shower / bath room when i was staying
