Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa, Patong Beach

Beautiful resort in a great location, close enough to Patong for shopping but far enough away to feel secluded. The meals we had in the resort were delicious and reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast was a highlight everyday. We stayed in a Diamond Jacuzzi Suite which was ample room with 2 x Double beds plus a sofa. If you have kids under 10 years old this would be okay, not ideal for older kids who want their own space. The staff were fantastic, except at the swim up pool bar and the Ocean view bar. They weren't very friendly and we had to wait to be served quite a few times. The resort had a luxury feel and for a very good price, I would recommend for both couples & families.

Excellent sized-rooms and well serviced. Staff were excellent. Pool was awesome and views out comparing Beach were good over the roof tops. Three restaurants make it a great option. Had a package where menus were limited but had enough variety to get thru a week. Drinks were included in the package and there was a good selection to choose from. If you want an expanded menu you had to forgo using your package meal voucher. However you kept the drinks flowing under the package = good. Thoroughly recommend Kiko (lunch bentos were great and forked out for fun teppanyaki which was great. Also Thai Orchid had authentic Thai dishes which tasted great. The Ocean Beach was great for breakfast with all you can eat covering almost all types of dishes and all fresh. Great fruit. Many lunch options on package menu - western and Thai options. Good walk down to Patong and beach. Well located.
