"Best all inclusive stay!"

10.0

My husband and I came to stay at Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa for 3 nights after staying for over a week in a timeshare at the high rise section with family. What a beautiful resort! Absolutely breathtaking. It was quite a change from the hectic fast-paced and crowded feel of the high rise timeshare experience. Typically, I am not an all-inclusive person; especially in Aruba where there are so many restaurants to choose from. Seeing as we had booked the all-inclusive package (I did not remember doing this) and it was already paid for, my husband suggested we try it. We had already explored the island having stayed there for over a week already. What a pleasant surprise!!! Every drink and meal were beyond excellent-absolutely not your typical all-inclusive stay! The resort itself was a respite from the chaos of the previous leg of our trip. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. The music piped in was tranquil. The spa is fantastic-a must do and book early! The open air treatment rooms are so nice! The food and drinks were top notch! The Japanese restaurant was especially delicious! My husband and I have decided to end each family trip alone back at Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa each time we come. Next time we plan on 4 nights instead of just 3 and definitely 2 trips to the spa! We are still talking about how much we loved this resort!

"Paradise - Sun, Sand, Smiles and Service"

10.0

Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa is a true piece of paradise. The location is perfect if you love the beach. Eagle beach stretches for approximately 1.5 kilometres one way, toward the busier Palm Beach, and about 750 meters the other way to a boardwalk at another hotel (we did walk down further as well). We walked several times each day, there was always a nice breeze, the sand was soft, and the beach is so wide, you never feel crowded. That is the same on the resort - we selected our chairs each morning, and we never felt crowded - there were always more than enough chairs, with sturdy, built-in umbrellas, to accommodate all of the guests. (if you want to be closer to the water, you do need to go down early to select your chairs, but if that doesn't matter to you, you can go anytime) We swam in the ocean each day, never, encountering rocks on entry. You could order from the menu for service to the beach. The pool was also spectacular - rectangular, long enough to swim a little bit if you wanted, and lovely temperature. We did not take part in the yoga classes, but they were well attended, and we did not have any spa treatments -but we did use the gym 4 times, it was small but there was enough equipment to do a decent workout! The accommodations were clean and a good size. The buildings are 2 levels, and there are several buildings, so they still feel private. We requested a second floor room and had a partial ocean view. We loved sitting out on the balcony in the morning and evening, and felt the second floor afforded more privacy. The food is DELICIOUS and plentiful. I am a vegetarian and eat a gluten free diet - I was never without. My husband is a meat and desert guy, and he was never without. We loved sampling as many cocktails as we could from the menu, they were so creative and soooo delicious!! The breakfast menu is extensive and, in my opinion, the best meal of the day. The lunch menu was also varied, and you could easily order a different item daily. For dinner, there are several restaurants to choose from. We ate at all of them, our favourite was Ikes Bistro and the Japanese sushi restaurant, The Chophouse had an excellent menu for meat lovers, unfortunately, for me there was only one main dish (it was delicious) so we only ate there once. A special shout out to Diana and Rachel - their attentiveness and service was top notch! We enjoyed the dining-out partnership available with the all-inclusive option. We rented a car one day - it was easy to explore the island. We also went on a snorkelling excursion which was a lot of fun. I am already dreaming of the change to go back, where all of your worries melt away and you can relax and enjoy the sun, sand and service.

"Aruba’s gem"

10.0

We found that this resort has a fascinating past and promising future. It is set on the best, most widest stretch of beach in Aruba. The team has a down to earth vibe. We felt safe to walk around off-resort in the evenings, and dining options are all close by. John was friendly and personable, always helpful and always seen helping guests. The new public beach complexities do make it tough on these few incredible beachfront properties - they maintain the beachfronts to keep them litter-free and sargassum-free. By Monday, March 16th we saw new signs posted to try to help determine hotel boundaries. We all pay a premium to stay at these best beachfront properties. Jean and Alejandra from Pega Pega, grill were really wonderful servers. There was a little aloe sunscreen station at Pega Pega and this was greatly appreciated as we ran out of sunscreen on our last morning. Julian the beach server on his Segway was excellent and conversations with him was easy to have. His energy and providing interesting information about Aruba. Stefanie at Ike’s Bistro, another long-term employee is outstanding, and the food was superb. Monica, the room attendant always made sure there was creamer for coffee and the room completely spotless each day (#67). Providing little beach coolers in your room to load with water and ice to stay hydrated at the beach was perfectly thoughtful. Thank you Manchebo Beach resort for keeping it real, the vibe special and unforgettable at this spectacular boutique resort. We would love to return.

"Thank you Manchebo"

10.0

Just returned from a 5 night stay. Glorious. Dined at all restaurants great food and service. My husband forgot his phone in the room as we arrived at the airport to return home. The airport staff called the resort and Andrew at Manchebo drive it out to us! Where would this ever happen??? Outstanding service. Thank you! Can’t Wait to return next year

"Quiet island paradise"

10.0

We just completed a week at the Manchebo Resort and it exceeded our expectations completely. We toured the island quite a bit and found no other property that compared. It's quaint, with about 70 thatched roof rooms in small, two level buildings with outstanding views of and access to the beach and ocean. There seemed scant difference between ocean view and ocean front rooms, both are exceptional. There are three restaurants that were all excellent and a small sushi bar. They have palapas on the beach that are maintained by the hotel but are public access by law. Hence, they alert you to stake out your spot early but staff is always available to assist. We found great seating at all times of the day. The beach and ocean are so wonderful that we only went in the hotel pool on our last day but it too was great and always had available seating. Our only bad experience was we booked a three hour snorkel tour thru the front desk with Around Aruba Tours. It turned out to be 30 minutes of snorkeling with the balance being deafening Hip Hop music and the staff pouring liquor directly into the mouths of drunken passengers. I am sure there are more relaxing alternatives available if you ask. We did a day long Jeep drive of the island and it was quite an off road adventure on the north side. My suggestion is travel counterclockwise as the National Park closes at 4 PM so you should enter it earlier in the day. We played Tierra del Sol golf course and it was very good. In total, Manchebo is quiet paradise so expect piano, steel drum or saxophone music and a chill vibe. It's not the place to hang if you are looking for raucous late night parties. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional and we look forward to returning someday.

"Manchebo Stay"

10.0

Our stay at Manchebo Beach Resort was really wonderful. The resort is beautiful and the property is well maintained, very clean, and the room was very comfortable-great linens and air conditioning. We slept incredibly well!! Service was top notch as was food quality at all of the restaurants. There was a lot of variety and healthy choices as well. Delseta in the restaurant Pega Pega during the day was a pleasure to get to know and provided great service with a smile. Our beach server Julian was terrific as well. He used a Segway to serve drinks and food- genius idea! Sustainability efforts at the resort were impressive!
