"Can't wait for our 6th trip!"

10.0

Our 5th trip to Manchebo Beach Resort in as many years. We absolutely love this hotel. Quiet and relaxing during the day and just a short cab ride to town for action! Staff, accommodations and restaurants a 10! One problem this visit, the beaches are public, we have no problem with that, but to be sitting on your lounge chairs and a giant blue tarp was put up now blocking our priceless view of the ocean was disappointing. Maybe an ordinance where you can't put up an umbrella/tarp bigger than a certain size could help. We have one in New Jersey on our public beaches and it works very well.

"A night to remember"

10.0

We had a chance to do one night while we were in Aruba and have wanted to stay there for so long so we splurged and booked it. It was all we had hoped for. Peaceful, romantic, outstanding service from people who just seem happy to make you happy (looking at you Andrew!). We have always popped in for yoga and that is a must do. John set us up both mornings at a great palapa, with so much space and quiet. We could actually listen to the water versus hearing other people talk. We had dinner during Mexican night and it was great! The mariachi band was amazing and a nice surprise. We hope to come back for more nights soon.

Manchebo is the perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful vacation. The staff is so kind and helpful with a fun attitude. Place was clean and well maintained with one of the most beautiful ocean front areas I have been to. A true oasis!

"SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!"

10.0

Countless visits over the years, and my family and I just can’t get enough of the magical experiences at Manchebo. The staff truly feels like a second family, and the property and amenities are always top-notch and never disappoint. It’s our home away from home. Somehow, every visit manages to surpass the last—which seems almost impossible! SPECIAL MENTIONS: We have NEVER had any negative experiences with a single staff member at Manchebo. They are all wonderful, however, I would like to make special mention of those who year after year go above and beyond for their guests: Management: Edgar, Patrick, Randall & Carla Reservations: Shilpa Front Desk: Rose and her amazing team Bellhop/Security: Oneill & Andrew Housekeeping: Jaime and our amazing housekeeper, Maritza Pool & Palapa Service: William and Baloney — outstanding support both beach & poolside Dining Events: Carmen and Michael Food & Beverage: Rachel, Jean, Alejandra, Ada, Ignazio, Chef Erik, Harold (who makes the best tableside Caesar salad, too!) Thank you all for continuing to make every stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come back to our second home and second family again!

"Peace, Rest and Friendship"

10.0

We just recently traveled back to Manchebo and were welcomed again just like we were family! Everything was familiar and better! What meant the most to me was seeing those beautiful people that care for us there recognize us, welcome us again with open arms, wonderful hugs, eager to catch up with our lives since our last visit...they are all just genuine, caring, honest, friendly people. Manchebo is a beautiful, calm place and is so well taken care of. The food is excellent! Lots of choices that make it easy to just arrive and stay without ever having to leave the property. The rooms are a lovely quiet retreat and so very clean! The atmosphere is serene, peaceful and filled with warmth. To Andrew, Delseta, Nacio, Oneil, and Julian...thank you for sharing your joy, your stories, and for welcoming us home. We cherish your friendship. We will see you again soon! "Disappointing experience in Aruba"

4.0

While the staff is very friendly, warm, and welcoming, this is not a 4 star or luxury property. The rooms and rest of the property are dated, not worth the price point of 700+. That said it was clean and well maintained. The pega pega bar is a fun atmosphere but the cocktails cater to the all inclusive plan and are therefore barebones. Not the higher quality resort cocktails. The food is also pretty meh. Aside from that, the major downside was the beach, which I felt unprepared for reading the other reviews and looking at photos. The photos showing clear calm waters must be when the winds die down but while I was there, there were 30+ mph winds. This made the water murky and full of sand/seaweed (far from the clear pristine water in the photos) with massive waves that made swimming not the most pleasant. I’ve never seen a beach in the carribean with so few people in the water as a result of the wind/waves. If you go on vacation for the beach, which i do, beware of the aruba trade winds. I wasn’t warned myself and I wish I’d seen something like this! I saw comments about it being a public beach with non-guests but that wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price and is just okay. Though if a pristine beach is your priority, I’d look elsewhere.
