Spark by Hilton Guilford

It was the convenient location right off the highway and near a very nice diner.

The room was not cleaned well. The bathroom grossed me out because when I picked up the toilet seat the underside was covered with feces. It was gross! Also, there were random pieces of little paper on the floor of the bedroom. The person who checked us in had no personality and didn’t bother acknowledging that I was a Hilton Honors member.

Nothing. Terrible experience here and stole money from us.

Terrible experience here. We had booked a king room and the door to our room wouldn’t lock and stay closed as we tried to leave. We told the front desk worker and he was nice as it wasn’t his fault. All would have been fine except there were no other king rooms available. Fine, no problem. The desk worker alerted us that we could figure out the refund in the morning as we were already late for our commitment after having to repack our stuff from the original room, and relocate to a Queen room. This is a room downgrade. Whatever, not a huge deal. In the morning, we go to checkout and the new worker tells me that since I booked through Booking.com, they weren’t able to refund me and that I had to continue the inconvenience by reaching out myself. I then reached out to Booking.com support and after 2 weeks and multiple attempts to get my deserved money back for the room difference in price from the room downgrade, support told me that the hotel did not respond to them, and I now have to call the hotel once again. Unbelievable and a truly awful awful awful experience.

Just spent 1 night there. Keeping in mind it’s like a 2 to 2-1/2 star hotel- it was fine. Was very clean, included continental breakfast, had showering toiletries-, parking no additional fee. Worked for me for the night
