StayInn - Grand Forks

Booked this hotel just a place stay 1 night on a road trip. The first room we were assigned had no working heat, and was filthy. Complained to the management and it took an hour and half for them to move me into the next room. This second room was trashed - tv face down, unmade bed, and still no working heat. The third room, and apparnet last available in the hotel, I can assume that is because the others were in a similar state to the previous rooms I saw, had working heat, but no fridge and crumbs in one of the two beds. There was also toe nail clippings stuck in the carpet. You get what you pay for I guess, but it still felt like too much for this dump and trouble to find a habitable heated room.

I like the Location and the Price. Building smells old, and the door to my room had an extremely loose door latch. However I will return to the property.

Overbooked my room

The heater in our room was very loud too hot so Dan turned it down then it got real cold. One of 2 washrags was pretty stained. The manager Teresa this morning was very nice and helpful. Kristina who checked us in was very nice also.

No food for the continental breakfast.

It was very noisy all night with people who must live at the hotel. It was quiet from 2-4 am when I left. I did not stay the second night. I found other accommodations.

Cops were at the hotel upon arrival. Crazy lady walking around and singing to the cops. Was not clean whatsoever. DO NOT stay here.
