Bahia del Sol Beach Front Boutique Hotel

Great desk and service staff, clean well maintained grounds, clean airy room, pool with swim up bar, steps from the beach. Good restaurant but close to many others as well. Shopping near by. Activities close by as well.

Beautifull location

Best stay ever!!! Totally worth it.

Staff were friendly specially Taco. However, the room was horrible,my family and I got lots of bug bites and and there’s also a couple of roaches in the room. The website was deceiving, they show a newly renovated 2 bedroom. What we got was an old 2 bedroom, nothing like the picture. I wouldn’t come back .

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The food was good at the restaurant, especially the chicken quesadillas. There were also plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

Loved being on the beach! Food was great at the dining room. Our server had difficulty with English while other staff members were excellent! Walk ability to the town was excellent.

We loved Bahía del Sol! Very quiet, beachfront property that was exactly what we were looking for. The food was amazing, the crew were always polite and helpful and happy hour never disappointed. The rooms could use a little updating but over all it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

The good: the restaurant staff and the front desk girl were friendly. The bad: The room was very tired, and the doors did not latch, no dead bolt, leaving the feeling that it was not safe. We did see the armed security guard walking around, but we would have still preferred to be able to lock our doors securely. Bugs in the room, ants, some kind of flying insect, as well as what looked like some kind of centipede running across the floor. The bed was uncomfortable, and it felt like insects in bed at night. Just outside the bedroom window was the pizza place/bar with Karaoke right next door to the property, and it was very loud and noisy. We also had the misfortune of listening to what sounded like racing cars and motorcycles until the early morning hours on the main road, with zero soundproofing in the rooms; sleeping was very difficult. We were booked for 2 nights, but shortly after arriving, we decided we would stay only that night and check out in the morning. The hotel said they had a no-refund policy on our Expedia booking, so they would not refund the second night. Because of the overall experience we had, we decided to lose the money for the second night and leave anyway. We went down the road to Margaretiville Resort, which is a resort I would recommend for that area. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for the Bahia del Sol Beach Front Boutique Hotel. I would not book here again.
