Stayed at Kamana Lakehouse during our Queenstown trip and overall it was a pleasant stay with a beautiful lake view. We booked the lake view room and the scenery was definitely one of the highlights. Front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. However, there was ongoing construction during our visit which caused some disruption to the view and occasional noise. The shared hot tub experience was nice, but the glass panels around it blocked most of the scenery, so you can’t really enjoy the lake view while soaking. Housekeeping could be improved too. One day, I intentionally placed the bathrobe on the floor for replacement, but it was simply hung back without being changed, and I had to request for a new one afterward. Room size was decent, though there may be better options around Queenstown with larger rooms, better views, and more facilities. Also take note that some room types do not come with a bathtub. Overall still a good stay with a nice atmosphere and friendly service.

The room was close to the lounge and restaurant and not sound proof at all. With a baby this was hard. The room service menu was terrible and very limited especially with dietary inclusions

Kāmana Lakehouse was sooooo special! We had a King room (second level) with a lake/mountain view and it did not disappoint! The views were spectacular! It is a walk into town especially back up the hill but we loved that this place was perfect for us. Food and service were excellent. The only slight niggle is parking is limited.
