"Classic and charming, close to the best of Astoria."

A classic 100 year old hotel lovingly cared for. Charming room, good breakfast, surprisingly good exercise room for this type of hotel. Right in the heart of downtown Astoria.

Parking is just a little inconvenient, but it's free and there's plenty of it.

Pleasant atmosphere. Nice gathering area in the lobby.

Toilets are ridiculously small. A man cannot get all of his important parts where they belong on a toilet. Please consider, at a minimum, elongated bowls.

"Hotel Elliot - a 1920’s experience"

This is an older style hotel. I was told it had been renovated but the renovation looks like it was a copy of the original. It gave the feeling of being back in the 1920’s. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Astoria with parking nearby. There is a roof terrace which offers a good view of the town.

I like the idea of keeping traditional styling but the hotel was musty and the decor was a bit depressing. Breakfast was included - but wasn’t very good apart from the Greek yogurt.
