The hotel is in a historic building downtown. It's in a great location. The room was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good.

There was an envelope in the room which asked for a tip for housekeeping. There was a jar at the breakfast that asked for tips. This was extremely tacky. At this price point, I would expect the staff to earn a good wage. I thought it would be better to charge a hospitality fee to pay staff. But then, there was a facility fee on the folio. What is that going to? The rooms didn't have mini refrigerators. I would expect the rooms to have those.

Really comfortable bed, good shower, fabulous location.

Heating in bathroom was in-floor. Either it wasn’t working or it takes an eternity to warm up, but it didn’t do the job. The breakfast was so so.

Clean historic hotel with delicious breakfast which was included with your stay. Walkable to waterfront.

Location

The hotel smelled of old, it is in need of an update. Our room had a huge air filter type system, that looked ridiculous and took up too much space.

Excellent location and great service!

Historical

I really enjoyed my room and the rooftop patio the most. The bed was really comfortable, the staff was always helpful, nearly every night I would go up to the rooftop patio and watch the sun go down. The hotel was directly across the street from TPaul's Supper club, and the food their was really good. Anything else I wanted to do in Astoria was within walking distance.
