We booked through a reservation line which made 3 mistakes. Kristin helped us get the type of room we were looking for. She really upgraded us to a large suite. I'll be back hopefully sooner. We had been here about 15 years ago. Rooms are beautifully decorated! This time we stayed in the new building which I highly recommend.

You can’t beat this hotel’s location - right across from a long sandy beachand yet 5 minutes away from downtown Newport! Only thing missing: a few more choices for the continental breakfast :)

Very expensive for what you get. Continental breakfast was not great, very limited selection of food. Staff were friendly. Would probably not stay here again.

Excellent location. We especially enjoyed the bicycles provided by the hotel.

Loved this hotel and the bicycles were a real plus.

We had s great time the staff was helpful the rooms were clean and bed comfortable although the bathroom did not have any hooks to hang towels nor did the bedroom we found that strange, put a couple of hooks on the bathroom door? There was also no shelf or anything in the shower where you could put your shower items they had to go on the floor that was also inconvenient The lack of a restaurant and bar was also a bit inconvenient. They had an adorable bar/restaurant looking out on the water and it was closed down indefinately. On a positive note their bike rentals were excellent brand new baskets locks helmets, Everything was really great. We rode them all day long ......... and the other positive where the bed's, very comfortable as I said, the staff was professional and helpful, but I will say there was one young man Who had a little bit of an attitude, didn't want me asking too many questions It seemed and scolded me inappropriately. He should never be speaking to a customer that way ...he was very good at his job, but he needs to change his attitude. It left me with a bad feeling After having such a nice visit. I've visited a lot of hotels in a lot of different countries, and that is the one job in which you cannot be rude to customers?? if he corrects that he will be excellent at his job. All in all I would say for the price the hotel met our expectations, but I would say it was good not great
