Decameron Aquarium - All Inclusive

The location is great and the rooms that face to the sea have great views.

The service from the hotel staff is horrible. We waited more than half an hour to get pre-registered in the front desk and there was a long line waiting and the reception staff didn't even care to hurry up. And in all places of the reception and online it says the check in time is 3pm, but the staff told us they would have the room available up until 5pm which is ridiculous and completely could be called false communication that violates consumers' rights. And that staff got angry and impolite with us since we insisted to have the room by 3pm and started just ingoring us until finally came the manager and gave us the promise to have the room by 3pm. And we were assigned to a room right above the sea, the view is marvelous but the windows could't be closed well. Then the rain entered the room and flooded. We couldn't even bare the stay the second night and moved to another hotel. It was definately the worst service I've ever experienced.

The location was great as it was in the center and within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. The room's view of the sea was breathtaking, especially in the morning.

Food was great as advertised. However, 1 or 2 of the restaurants were closed. I was expecting more than 3 restaurants opened as per the website but that was fine overall. That certainly did not ruin the trip.

Nice buildings albeit old and in need of repairs. It rained and floors got wet and there were leaks in the ceiling. Restaurant and bar staff were nice. The front desk staff rude and uncooperative. The food was average at best. I have been in several All inclusive resorts. This one was the worst. I wouldn’t recommend it and definitely won’t return

Given the price, the property is in serious disrepair. The resort boasts “all inclusive” but really the drinks are very generic liquor and the restaurants were closed multiple days during our week long stay forcing us to eat at the buffet. The staff was friendly however it rained heavily and our room was constantly inundated due to leaks on the roof. The shower was painstakingly small had awful water pressure and it took forever for the water to warm up mildly. The hotel is close to the shopping district but the outside is constantly swarmed with locals trying to sell you car rentals/trips/souvenirs.

Nothing to like. Absolutely horrible. Mold and mildew in the room. The facilities haven’t been maintained in years. No ac. Bedbugs. Bad food. For $400/night. Left after one night. Cancelled the rest of th stay and switched hotels due to the horrible conditions.

All things considered this is one of the nicer hotels on San Andres. The staff was excellent! The food, bar service and dining at the hotel is good. The hotel layout and ocean front views are excellent Downtown shopping and dining a short walk from the hotel. Tour activities are nearby. English widely spoken but it helps to have a Translator app on your phone. WIFI is a problem sometimes.
