I very much enjoyed my few days at this hotel, the restaurant was busy and served fairly straightforward but tasty food, breakfast was good, there is a nice bar in the evening with decent food too and the guest rooms are spacious, light and pretty quiet. The staff were kind and efficient. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the overwhelming perfume in the lobby and adjacent corridors.

Have been coming here a lot over the and have always been very pleased unfortunately the food quality standards and dining room facilities are not what they used to be. Breakfast not good as bacon and scrambled egg is over - cooked and some bread stale ie hard crust. Evening meal was ordered towards the end of the evening 45 minutes before closing but was unable to order a number of meals as they were no longer available. Soup was just about warm and the pasta meal the same and not edible, had to leave. Restaurant area needs a new carpet and new furniture as now quite grubby. May not visit again, a shame as this hotel has great memories for us.

Nice hotel an staff. Renovated rooms and beds are very comfortable. Good dinner at one if the restaurants on their nice patio. I would stay here again.

The hotel boasts a gym, small but with several fitness machines according to the website. That unfortunately was overrated as the weights cannot really be used as elemental pieces are missing. Into gym? don't go here. I had several napkins laying about my bathroom for 7 days straight, no one picked them up. The sheets had not been changed at the frequency stated on the instructions and my lunchbox - preordered several days in advance - only was correct one out of 7 lunchboxes. The stale bread really annoyed me, especially when the reply from the kitchen was they had run out of bread. The hotel has a long way to go, before I shall return.

Very nice hotel and great service. Convenient location. Free parking a plus. Rooms very spacious, excellent beds and luxury bathroom. Can definitively recommend and will stay again.

Rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. There are couple of restaurants and they are quite good. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel could think of placing 1 or 2 bottles of packaged water and a cloth iron in the room. One of the minor irritant is the vending machines in hotel do not accept any cards (only euro coins). A short term visitor to Europe (like me) may be only carrying credit / cash cards. Other than these minor issues, this place offers a great stay, good in-house food and great value for money.

When you're looking for a good place to stay in The Hague area Hotel De Gouden Leeuw is a very good alternative. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and above all: clean! So is the bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast offered is very, very good. If you like to go out on a bike the environment is realy nice. At the reception desk the have several cycling routes and they are all worth the time". Next the the hotel they have created a "Fresh Market". This worth a visit: Very nice products for a reasonable price. We like to come back one day.

I used to work in this establishment more then 45 years ago!! It was a small restaurant but well known in the area. My sister and I reminisced about working in the kitchen. We had coffee with apple pie and a Crock Madam. Glad we shared the latter, it tasted great but was huge and very rich. The service was adequate.

Very nice rooms, large and luxurious bathrooms, comfortable beds, and lots of storage! Nice onsite restaurant is a bonus. Bus pick-up right in front of hotel makes travel easy. Bike rental a plus!

stayed here while visiting my son, the hotel was very well equipped, staff very helpful, my room was lovely and big and airy i booked a deluxe double room, bed was queen size, lots of tea and coffee etc, Bathroom was amazing with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower, lots of smellies and flannels provided in room. We ate breakfast here one morning and was not dissapointed, huge selection of cooked, and continental, fruit and yogurt, staff were very helpful, and dining room was huge and very clean and well kept. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Holland
