"Good"

Great for the price and where it was situated but the bathroom flooded when we showered. The restaurant staff were uninterested in serving us 30min prior to closing. Bar staff weren't friendly.

"Great food."

While they were helpful when asked, they seemed so unapproachable and unfriendly. The shuttle drivers were the exception (Jacob needs mentioning) The decor and amenities in the room were minimalist however that of the lobby and dining room deserve a 5*****rating.

"Good Hotel away from the City Centre"

My one night stay was very comfortable and the hotel staff and services very helpful to my needs for shuttles and short tours of interest in Johannesburg. The hotel dining facilities are excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel accommodation is comfortable and very peaceful.

"Nice hotel close to The Wanderers cricket ground. "

Protea Hotel Wanderers is handy for attending cricket matches at the adjacent ground. The Hotel bar and restaurant are quite acceptable quality. There is a nice north facing pool and deck. The Wanderers club provides a convenient alternative for meals and drinks and is a must. There are several restaurants and bars Within easy walking distance. Rosebank mall and Gautrain station are 20 minutes walk away.

"Exceptional"

Hotel staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I left my sunglasses on the table in the restaurant and they kept them safe until the following day. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The location was good for us as we needed to be in that area, as long as you don't expect to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.
