The only thing that upset me was having to wait for a room when I was already late checking in

Our stay at Protea Hotel Wanderers was good. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a couple issues with check in and with one of the rooms but the general manager went out of his way to rectify the issues! Overall very nice hotel to stay and and would definitely stay there again.

Really poor experience, I needed to use the internet for making business calls, very poor performance and had to cancel some client deals or go to another hotel due to this. Even though the start were great especially Sheri who was very supportive and very strong with her customer services. However, if I am being fair, overall the hotel seemed to have a number of shortcuts and I would not feel comfortable bringing clients in to this hotel.

Front desk staff was not helpful. We asked when we checked in about getting a taxi to the airport for the next morning and were told that it would be no big deal, come down and get a taxi. The next morning we called down and the front desk staff said we should have booked one the night before and that there were no taxis for at least an hour. They wouldn't give us the taxi number nor would they do anything to help us make our flight. We ended up getting an uber ourselves but in the process wasted half an hour with the unhelpful staff.
