Hilton Garden Inn Westbury

Hilton Garden Inn of Westbury deserves a lot of praise for the exceptionally well trained staff. From the moment I checked in, the staff greeted me with a smile and whenever I needed something from them, thety always had a helpful attitude. Katira who I had the pleasure of interacting with multiple times was espiecially helpful. I also dealt with Marilyn, Carlos, Terrence, and Jerry who were all very helpful as well. Doug the assistant general manager seems to do a very good job of training them well. This hotel had an amazing team! Even the support staff would greet me courteously in the hallways and elevators. I had a junior suite which was perfect for me. It was well cleaned, and well designed. It came with a microwave and a mini fridge which was perfect for leftovers. A/C worked really well.

Older property outside looks run down. Each day we were there they were doing some type of work in the lobby. Seem to be using a large amount of air freshener to cover up a musty smell.

Was an older hotel. Need some upgrading.

Room was spacey

main door did not latch automaticlly. shower area was in poor shape.a/c filter was dirty.the windows were filthy.

Two lights did not work in the room. Television service cut out on a few occasions for over an hour each time. The manager is disrespectful and made false claims about odor from the room. Housekeeping stated the room was very clean and no odor. They put a charge for my service animal which i believe they arent allowed to charge for.

Nice and quite very clean rooms and very helpful staff Terrance at reception and his co workers we're all courteous and professional and willing to assist
