Excellent location the grounds are kept immaculate. The staff were outstanding very helpful friendly snd polite

Its a long way from the airport 2hrs And the beach was closed due to restoration works, we had been informed. Alternative beach facilities were given with free transportation

I stayed here from 24-April-2026 till 04-May-2026. For anyone complaining about the construction currently taking place on the beach front, that is the Indonesian government project not the hotel and it is completely out of control of the Candi Beach Hotel. The construction project on the beach to thwart erosion is expected to be completed next year but that is out of the hotel’s control. The construction team is making good progress so it should be completed soon. However the hotel has an alternative , they offer free shuttle services to Virgin Beach which is only 30 minutes away. The only downside with Virgin Beach is that you need to rent your own umbrella and recliners. However the sea is beautiful, crystal clear water and the beach is huge. When I stayed at the hotel I could have direct access to the beach front but I could walk around by reception, through a narrow pathway and have access to the beach front. I had a lovely swim in the sea and I snorkeled with a turtle upfront. So you can still swim in the sea during the construction work. This is the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever seen. It was so peaceful and tranquil. I got a free upgrade to the junior suite and the room is so capacious. The bathroom has a big shower and bath. The room also had a private balcony and a pool dedicated for junior suite vacationers. The rooms have ceiling fans and air conditioners to keep cool. There are also kettles to make your own coffee or tea. There is also a fridge where you can keep free water cool. Do not drink water from the taps in Bali. There are three swimming pools at this hotel , each are clean and well maintained. The staff are extremely helpful and serve you food and drinks by the pool . The garden is beautiful with banana shrubs and tall coconut palm trees. I love hearing the sound of waves crashing on the shore break it is such a peaceful sound. The sea is crystal clear and blue turquoise water reflects right up till the horizon.

Super rétablissement bien qu’il y avait des travaux sur la plage nous avons été surclassé dans des villas avec piscine individuelle c’était vraiment top. La déco est super belle la piscine est très chouette rien à redire.

I had such a heartwarming experience at the poolside bar today 😊🌴 Around 12 p.m., I ordered a pizza and beer by the pool 🍕🍺. At first, I was told that the restaurant would open at 1 p.m., so the pizza could only be served after that time. But what really touched me was not just the explanation itself — it was the way the staff treated me. Because of the ongoing construction, several staff members kindly apologized and explained everything to me with so much care and sincerity 🙏✨. Their words and attitude made me feel completely understood, respected, and welcomed. I could truly feel the kindness and warm hospitality of the Candi Beach Resort staff. As a foreign guest, I felt that they treated me with genuine care and trust, and that made me very grateful 🥹🌺 I especially want to say thank you to Jun, who explained everything so clearly and kindly, and also to the wonderful staff at the poolside bar 💛👏. Their warm smiles and thoughtful service turned a small inconvenience into a beautiful memory. Thank you so much, Candi Beach Resort. I will remember this kindness for a long time 🌊🌴😊

We only booked Candidasa beach resort for the beach, unfortunately because of the beach project we were unable to access through no fault of the hotel, however we were very happy with the free shuttle to virgin beach.

We would give 0 if it was possible. We booked it ages ago and got a message in February saying " theres an oficial government project taking place, its only temporary, work happening during designated hours, the services will be adiusted, we wil monitor it closy and update you". Arrived at the hotel and the beach was fully closed, work and noise happening throughout all day from 7am to 9pm. No one informed us about it. Everything outside was dirty from dust. No one is cleaning it. We spoke to other quests and they also were never informed about the beach being completely closed. Lack of respect, completely ruined our holidays, they play a game and stil want quests to come here without being informed about the current situation in details. Absolutely deceiving, not fair and iust horrendous attitude from the management. We booked our trips directly from the hotel a week ahead and couldnt cancel them so had to stav here and couldnt rebook last moment Extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. They should bear in mind people come here from all around the world and this place doesng look like their booking.com advertising. Should have sent email+ an option to cancel and book a decent place. On the top of that we got a voucher for 1 dinner for 2. Voucher menu very cheap menu, completely different than the one for quests. In the menu there was starter, main course and dessert. Dinner was tiny like a baby portion. When trying to order desert we were told we were not allowed and it wasnt included. Shocking attitude and lack of respect Stat alert guys. Do not recommend

The resort itself is beautiful and the service and food are amazing. We especially booked Candi Beach resort & Spa because of the beach and the sea view. We paid a lot of money for the luxury suite with hottub and sea view. We were expecting a romantic, relaxed and calm resort where we could enjoy our honeymoon. A few weeks before our arrival we got the notification that there are construction works at the beach which is a governmental project. Due to this project the beach is completely closed. We asked for a cancellation and a full refund. Unfortunately the resort was not willing to cancel our booking or give us any compensation. They gave us the opportunity to reschedule our booking to a later moment this year, which wasn't an option for us, as we planned this stay as part of our honeymoon. So we decided to give our stay a try, as we paid over 900 dollars for 4 nights. The construction works at the beach are horrible. Works start at 7/8 AM and finish around 9/10 PM. The construction works doesn't only ruin the view, you're not able to ignore the noise as well. After one day we asked the employees at the reception for a compensation. They offered us another room but this wasn't an option for us. We paid a lot of money for the hottub on the balcony and the see view and wouldn't have paid more than 900 dollars for a private pool in the back of the resort. In the end the resort gave us a free massage and a discount on the food as compensation. We decided to take this offer as we were not expecting a higher compensation from the management. After 2 nights, we decided to leave early and go to another accomodation on Bali. The resort apologised multiple times for the construction works and repeated that it's not in their control. But they should take their responsibility and at least change the pictures on booking.com and their website. We would recommend the resort if there were no construction works but at the moment it's not worth your money. After a couple of days, we received a message from the management that we'll receive an extra compensation for the two unused nights. We really appreciate that!

Petit déjeuné complet, pour tous les goûts. Possibilité de restauration à toute heure de la journée possible dans l’hôtel. Hotel très spacieux, très bien entretenu.

Nuisances sonores : - Notre chambre n’était pas très bien insonorisé (proche de la réception, nous entendions le personnel parler, très tôt le matin comme très tard le soir). - Travaux de la plage en ce moment (pas de leur faute mais non négligeable puisque les ouvriers n’ont pas vraiment d’horaires de travail, travaux très bruyants dès le petit déjeuné jusqu’à 22h et plus certains soirs).
