Econo Lodge Morristown West

I had never stayed at an Econo Lodge before but it was only for one night. I didn't have high hopes. However, it seemed very clean, modern, and the staff was very nice. It has most of the creature comforts like a mini fridge and microwave for example. They do not serve breakfast or have a pool. Oddly, it smelled heavily like cigarettes all through the halls, but not inside our room. I don't know what that was all about, but it didn't really bother us since it wasn't inside the room, it was just strange. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you're just staying for one night.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! We were visiting Morristown for a family wedding. We made our reservations at this hotel in January 2023 and paid by credit card at that time. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed by the front desk lady that they would not accept the rate that was listed on hotels.com. They said that Econolodge rejected the price and cancelled our reservation. (I had called Econolodge 2 hours before we checked in to confirm our reservation and they confirmed the reservation.) We were offered rooms at a higher rate and would have to pay for them. They did not offer us a refund. I have called Hotels.com and have asked for a refund for the cancellation that the HOTEL did. Hotels.com told us that the manager of Econoloadge would not issue a refund. This place scams people out of money. I'm sure this constitutes FRAUD! They gave us a print out on their stationary that stated that I cancelled the reservation on May 31, 2023 (which is not true.). If I had cancelled the reservation on May 31, 2023, it still would have been before the June 6, 2023, which was the cancellation date without penalty. This is the worst place that we have ever dealth with.

I was in Tennessee to watch my grandson play high school football. I was fortunate to find this business. The lady that checked us in was very bubbly and nice. She checked the room to make sure that everything was working. Although the breakfast had been shut down for Cov-19. we were still offered coffee in the morning an an occasional doughnut. The room was clean and we were provide clean towels as often as we needed it. As long as other high priced hotels are cutting back on the ammenities, you might as well use a motel that doesn't charge you for them. I would reccomend this hotel and I would use it again myself.

I had visited my aunt in Morristown , since there were many friends who had come in, i had to find a place to stay. Econo Lodge came up on my google top search, seeing the low cost, i decide to give it a shot. i cannot regret the stay. The rooms were clean, the clerk front desk assistant was so friendly and helpful. Its is a next stop to stay in

Stay here because it was close to attraction visiting. The room was clean. Bathroom was clean. The lady at the desk was very nice. However, the breakfast was just so so. One other thing was that the lobby was dark and lights were not on outside wasn’t sure this property was open when driving into the parking area. The internet was very poor.

I had no choice but to stay here since my car broke down on the Interstate. I ended up here for two nights. The rate was good, the room was very clean and updated, and the shower was really hot, in a good way. Check in was quick, friendly, and efficient and the service overall was excellent. They have a nice breakfast in the morning served in a very clean lobby and they have DirecTv. I had no intention of staying here but with combination of service, rate, and cleanliness there wasn't a better place to get stuck than here. BTW, I'm a runner and I found a nice 7 mile loop in the country right out the front door of the hotel too so that was a bonus.

Probably one of the worse motels I've stayed in. Check-in was slow because the clerk was constantly answering the phone (ever hear of "hold please"?), but I finally got my room. The whole motel reeked of stale cigarette smoke and the corridor had trash strewn all over. My room, which was supposed to be non-smoking, also reeked of stale cigarettes and booze. Of course, there were no other rooms to move to due to being sold out (or so I was told). I even found trash in my room. The wi-fi was lousy and kept disconnecting ("give it a minute"), plus it logged me in automatically without needing the password. I also noticed none of the security doors actually locked, so anyone could get in. The bath towels were dingy and almost threadbare and appeared to have simply been thrown on the towel rack. There were also blood stains in the shower. I didn't sleep well because the bed was hard and the bed springs complained whenever I tried to move around. There were also people wandering the hall half the night making noise as if they were the only people there. Not a lot to eat at breakfast. There were four kinds of cereal, but all were pre-sweetened (bad new if you're diabetic), but there were waffles, plus bread for toast, though I didn't see much else. All in all, a major disappointment. I don't know how this place ever passed inspection, unless Econo Lodge has very lax standards.

Looking for a cheap hotel close to the interstate this one was pretty clean. Only ice machine is in another building which was kinda weird but for the price it was all we needed. Checked in around 9pm and the lady out from was super nice. Make sure you are out by 11 or they will call lol

Ok I'll start with the good. The room and bathroom were clean. Now the bad. The place was extremely hot, there was no hot water in the shower, not enough pillows, no elevator and it's in a creepy area (behind a housing complex).
