Mammoth Mountain Inn

This has been the most incredible experience. The location cannot be beat where it takes three minutes to walk to the gondola. Everything‘s at your fingertips – good dinners, Great Coffee, Great Fitness with Peloton. What a score. The rooms are great. I need to send a special shout out to MAILEILANI. She is outstanding. She took care of everything for this trip and made us so comfortable and we felt so valued. I’m so appreciative. MAILEILANI has a wonderful, friendly disposition and really wants to go overboard to make a guests’ stay memorable Thank you!

Thank you so much for a wonderful experience at the Mammoth Mountain Inn!! The hotel is beautiful and the location could not be better! We rode up on the gondola and the view was incredible. Everyone we encountered was courteous, enthusiastic and helpful. We felt welcome and secure out entire time there. Thank you, especially to Andi, Maile, Tatihana and Victoria. Friendly staff, esp at the front desk and the general store. Solid facilities located right at the slopes and Main Lodge. At checkin, the clerk was very helpful getting us into the right room. Really appreciated the free on-site parking!

Exterior and hallways feel a bit shabby - it’s a well-used place but has real potential. For example, the classic warm lights (think of a national park lodge) have been replaced with bluish, hospital clinic white lights - not a western vibe like one would expect. Probably cheaper, though.

Stayed at Mammoth Mountain Inn for a 4 day 3 night family snow filled mini vacay / bday celebration. The hotel’s location was very convenient as it was right in front of the lifts and the gondola. The employees were very helpful and polite especially Hernan you helped us from the moment we checked in til we checked out. We had the best time snowboarding and our toddler had the best time of his life playing in the snow especially it being his first time. Our overall experience was 5/5. Would definitely go again.

Rooms are very dated but in a great location. Riley checked us in and was just so pleasant and helpful. He was lovely. I had to go to the desk once to ask for help and unfortunately I got Ben, who was rude and very unhelpful. So, look at the name tags and avoid Ben and see if you can find Riley.

Thanks, Hernan, for the smooth check-in and positive vibes! Since the hotel was not very full, I got to have an upgraded room with a mountain view. Ski in/out is unbeatable and I took full advantage of the ski valet for storing my board. Great place to stay when Main is still open for great spring riding!

Had a great experience from start to finish. You can't beat the ski in, ski out location here for the price. Also, a big shout out to Hunter at check-in for such knowledgeable service and helpful assistance with my stay. Much appreciated!

Flew over from Honolulu to stay at the mammoth mountain inn at main lodge. From the airport in Reno, was able to take a shuttle to the village and catch a short Uber up. It was a long day of travel and great to be met at the front desk with a friendly smile and roaring fireplace. Hernan was so helpful checking us in. He gave us recommendations and helped accommodate special request, as our friends were meeting us a few days later. We were packing gear and are staying for 5 days. We really appreciate the staff here and shout out to Hernan for making our stay the best! Can't beat great hospitality and location with snow! Our room was spacious and clean and lucky to score the ikon pass discount on our stay.

Hernan and Maile were able to help me with my reservations. They shared all the available amenities and answered all my questions. First time staying at the main lodge at Mammoth Mountain Inn. It was nice room. I got a good night's rest after enjoying the mountain all day.
