The room was as expected, small but functional. It did not have a refridgerator, coffee maker, or any place to obtain ice. My issue though, I should have read more thoroughly. The staff spoke minimal english, but were freindly all the same. The location was good and the windows did a good job keeping out the noise from the street. Not a fancy place but got the job done. No real issues.

I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what I did have was very friendly and helpful. There aren't a ton of amenities, but it was comfortable and I was mostly there to sleep. I was able to check in early and nap for a bit. The dark curtains easily allowed that. The location was wonderful- only a couple minutes walk from Puerta de Sol or the Callao metro station. (Gran Via was closed for renovations while I was there.) It's on a side street from Gran Via, but there's still some city noise, if that's likely to bother you. Excellent food and coffee and shopping are very close.

It was so close to many restaurants, close to the metro, close to El Corte Inglés. I love the location of hotel and the front desk (Jose María) was very helpful.

The staff was extremely personable and helpful. We were allowed to store our luggage while we grabbed breakfast and then our room was ready. The room I was not tidy and the floors were dirty. The floors also creaked loudly with every step. There was constant noise throughout the night which did not allow for much sleep. It is close to the center of the city but we would not choose this lodging option in the future.
