Bedfort Inn & Suites

Our stay was great. The hospitality of the staff was friendly and accomodating.

The staff at the counter are really nice, pleasant and have good customer service. In the other hand, the waitress in the restaurant where we had our breakfast, was really rude and plastic. I only asked if the restaurant door can be closed because the lobby was cold due to heater malfunction. She answered me rudely "why didn't you closed it yourself, so i don't have to close it!" I wasn't even asking her to close it herself. I was just asking if the door 'can' be closed.

Location was very close to west Edmonton Mall and other amenities

Building had seen better days but with the renovations, it was pretty good for the price. Service was excellent both at the front desk and at the restaurant for free breakfast.

The room looked good when we first arrived but the more time spent in it the more we noticed: - bathroom fan not working - bedside tables were very dirty down the sides next to the bed - tv remote didn't work. Could change channels but had to physically get up and adjust the volume or turn it on or off. - back of bathroom door was filthy

Had to use side doors as there was construction in the front. Restaurant not open for supper.

I had stayed at the Howard Johnson hotel several years before. At that time, it was a run-down nightmare. When I booked this time, it was honestly a mistake as I hadn’t been paying close attention when I booked. I was pleasantly surprised. When we arrived, the hotel had been renovated (and they were working on the parking area too, bringing it up to a better standard). The lobby was clean and looked like it had been recently painted. The person at the front desk was very helpful. The room, though small by modern standards, was also clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. The negatives. The beds were very hard (I had to check to be sure it wasn’t a concrete slab under the sheets). The included breakfast was Good, but having a buffet style would have been better, though with the number of guests partaking in it, I understand why they didn’t do this. And the neighborhood leaves something to be desired as it is an older, poorer section of the city. Would I stay again? To be honest, I am uncertain if I would or not, primarily due to its proximity to certain, shall we say, unsavoury elements. But if you need an inexpensive place to stay for the night, this place works.

Stayed 2 days, breakfast was by coupons and i guess room service forgot to clean our room after first day, so no spare towels and uncharged beddings for the 2nd day. Otherwise was quiet, and comfortable for a cheap price.

Very old/not updated building and rooms. Sketchy area. Staff were very friendly, clean hotel but very old. Parking lot needs new pavement, hotel and rooms need an upgrade. Would not go outside in the parking lot or beyond after supper. With all that said and what we paid for that, I don’t think we will be back. Again, staff was very friendly.

The room was big, comfy, clean, and the staff were awesome 👏. Hallway carpet needs updating, elevator needs air freshener and parking grounds needs fixing. Thank you we enjoyed our stay 👍👍
