Absolutely nothing and didn't stay as we all felt so uncomfortable and were disgusted with the room and overall misrepresentation of the place on the booking .com website.

Everything. We were stared at by staff and people in bar. Staff were abrupt. Room was grubby..mould on pipes, sheets marked, carpet stained, loft hatch open. Nothing good to say. The website and pictures are very misleading. This property needs to be taken off your site in all honesty. We didn't stay and found alternative accommodation where we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. My 15 year old daughter felt very intimidated by staff and the drinkers at bar.

Wir wandern den Jubilee Trail. Beim Check-in haben wir durch einen Aufsteller erfahren, dass die Küche an dem Tag geschlossen sei. Gut, dass es einen weiteren Pub in Town gab, wo wir essen konnten. Wir wurden darüber nicht im Vorwege informiert, obwohl wir einen Tisch für Dinner reserviert hatten. Das Zimmer war teils dreckig (fleckiger Fußboden, speckige Armlehnen beim Sessel …). Die Krönung war das Frühstück: Der Kaffeeautomat out of order. Kein Toast mehr, weil die anderen Gäste das bisschen, was da war, aufgegessen hatten. Cerealie leer. Kein Personal da, das man um Toast und Kaffee hätte bitten können. Das schlechteste Frühstück, das wir jemals hatten.

The location was ideal for us as we were travelling from Wales to go to Monkey World. Our room was large enough for four of us and was very clean. The beds were comfortable.

There was one member of staff behind the bar when we arrived. We were told there was no food available as the chef was sick. We never saw any other member of staff ... Even in the morning ... Breakfast buffet was laid out but no coffee or tea available as the machine was out of order and no-one around to make other arrangements. There was not enough bread, but again, no-one to ask for more. No-one around to check out with either ... It was like a ghost town lol! Overall the accomodation was adequate for a one night stop over, but it was very impersonal and did not feel welcoming.

Did not appreciate being woken up by the chef coming home drunk banging on the door, swearing and then being sick. You could then hear him shouting while arguing with a female. This went on for quite awhile.

Staff very friendly on arrival, the room was clean. Main meal in pub was great.

Due to staff shortages the room was not quite ready on our arrival and the chef had to finish the room as no housekeeper, felt sorry for them as we had also ordered food. No power point near kettle so had to put kettle on floor to use which was not ideal in a family room with a young child.

The size of the bedroom and the tv had great channels like prime tv.

Unclean and not friendly. The carpet was very stained. The bedding hadn’t been ironed. One of the mattresses you could feel the springs coming through. Should be replaced. the pillows were so bad they needed replacing. The shower was filthy. has hairs on the bottom of the shower floor and grime all over the glass. No cooked breakfast as stated. every time we walked in and out we were just stared at. No hello. Work going on so there was drilling noises should’ve never been aloud to book. It’s a shame because the place has potential.
