Good location. Friendly staff

The room was not ready until around 18:25. The staff stated that they had forgotten the booking. However it became clear that night that they had been doing an emergency clean. The seat and carpet stank of vomit. Our evening meal was cancelled as there was no chef - likewise there was no hot breakfast - only cold dishes. Even the tea / coffee maker did not work at breakfast.

Sadly pub was closed by the time we arrived on the Sunday and no where local to eat so had to drive out

We arrived late at night and arrangements were made to access the property and our room without having to disturb anyone. The room was basic but had all that we needed.

I made the booking for three female adults and I thought we would have three single beds. There was a double and a day bed. I slept on the day bed which was very squeaky on every move! Breakfast was buffet style. I can only assume there was only enough food made for the amount of guests staying as by the time we came down for breakfast, the hot food keeping warm on the hot plates looked uninviting! We did not enjoy the breakfast, even the coffee machine looked tired and dated.

The only thing that let down was the breakfast. They looked like him in sitting there. Good couple of hours, it would have been nice to have it cooked freshly by request

Very comfortable bed!

No staff present at breakfast time. Lack of crockery and cutlery. No hot food available. TV not working properly in our room.
