High standard of service with polite and helpful staff. Room suited purposes and was clean and comfortable Breakfast was excellent

Apart from a stomper on the floor above for a period just after midnight nothing to dislike.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express and had a really solid experience overall. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and well organised. The check-in process was quick, and the staff made things easy without any hassle. During my stay, Ann-Marie and Lynsay stood out for being especially welcoming and helpful whenever I had questions. Will and Miles were also great at keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes, which you can really feel in how well the hotel is managed. Charlee and Mivi were always friendly around the hotel and added a nice positive energy to the place. Dan and Sophie made breakfast time a lot more enjoyable, always making sure everything was topped up and clean. Beth and Maddie were helpful with any small requests I had, and Sam and Hades made sure everything in the room area stayed comfortable and well looked after. Aaron and Magda also deserve a mention for their professionalism and how smoothly they handled things during busier moments. Overall, it was a comfortable, well-run stay with a good atmosphere and a team that clearly works well together. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and easy hotel experience.

We had an adjoining door to the next room, so could hear the occupants snoring & talking , felt uncomfortable so had to put a chair against the door

We were given the key to our room which turned out to be already occupied. The receptionist apologised and we were given a couple of drinks vouchers for the inconvenience. How can the system not stop rooms being allocated that are already occupied??
