InTown Suites Extended Stay Kannapolis NC

Booked my hotel about 2 weeks or more in advance and fully paid for my stay. The week of my stay, i called 3 times to tell them I would be checking in late on Friday between 7 and 8 pm. The first time I received no answer (Monday), the second time i left a voicemail (Tuesday), the third time I spoke to whom I believe was the assistant manager and informed her of the situation and of the voicemail I had left and I was given approval for my arrival on Friday. Come Friday, I arrive at the agreed upon time and he only person there is the property manager (who was nice and hospitable and tried her best) who cannot access the system because she does not have the proper permissions and when she called the assistant manager whom I had talked to, she was told nobody ever called her about the reservation and that she does not remember me nor does she have my paperwork. Then she added insult to injury by saying she refused to come back to the hotel to help solve the problem. So not only did my guest and I have to wait 2 hours just to be told the reservation we paid for doesn’t exist and nobody is coming to help (despite the fact that I had a receipt readily available), but we had to scramble to find a different hotel nearby that had a front desk that was still open at 9pm (btw, the front desk at this location ALSO said clearly on the sign that it would still be open for about 2 hours after the time I arrived). Luckily we were able to find one 10 minutes away. I won’t be coming back.

I found that I had bedbugs about one month after my stay. I don't know that they came from here as I stayed in another hotel the next weekend, but they came from somewhere. I checked the room, too, before sleeping in it the first night.

My stay at that particular hotel was horrible. It wasn't clean, the tub faucet knob was broken and they had to switch my room. Both rooms smelled like both cigarettes and marijuana. I was not pleased at all!!!

Paid for a room with a single queen bed and received a room with double beds at arrival. Very dissapointed in the staff for suggesting I pay more for their mistake. The room smelled musty, and although I did not see bed bugs I am sure I saw a roach. Television in the room did not work either, and with the front desk closing so early it was difficult to make a complaint. Stayed for one night, and would not have stayed longer.

Very old and dirty. We are a family of five and chose this hotel as it slept five. We arrived after 7 which is when the front desk closed so we had to call a phone number to get our key. The lady was quite pleasant. We got to our room and it was disgusting. The walls in the bathroom had dry wall patches, the ceiling had mole, the carpets were stained and the counter in the mini kitchen had nail polish remover all over it. The beds were so hard and the pull out couch didn't have any sheets. We would never stay here again.

First room was dirty and toilet. Second room better but not clean. A lot of loud people. Smoking all kinds of stuff. Foul language used by guests. Hotel staff locked up and left at 7 pm. We were on our own. Not safe

No iron in room, no hair dryer, bathroom toilet not flushed and black hair strands on toilet seat. Air conditioner barely cooled room. There was one fork one spoon two left over steak knives two small glasses no pots or pans.

The room was very quiet even with the main highway only about 200 feet away.

Went to hotel at night around 10 pm front desk was closed

Great rate for long term. Room dirty when arrived, it had been cleaned but was still dirty. Manager very sweet lady.
