Residences at Solomon Pond

The location is good near I-495 and I-290. That's it though.

Basically there is no staff at night or in the morning when I stayed. The building has a lot of people living there, and they are smoking inside and keeping pets. Noise in the hall at all hours. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, which only got worse by the morning. It was wafting in from an adjacent unit. I called the customer service number and got a very passive aggressive response from the answering service. They said they would call back about changing rooms. They never called back. The management company should stop offering this property as a hotel. It's transitional housing, and is more like an apartment complex.

The hotel had everything I needed - a clean room, hot water, a workout facility, and free parking. It is a bit aged with the floor in my room warping and the heater is an old wall mount that is very noisy, but kept the room warm. The guests are pretty active until about 10pm but its quite quiet after that until about 7am. Overall a good place to lay my head for a few hours.

Clean, right off the highway, easy to get in and park.
