Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Montrose - Black Canyon Area

The breakfast is more of a quick on the go low-key type of thing. I would say it fairly matches the rate for the room which was very reasonable for this time of year.

Tv did not work. Curtains had dried paint on them. Tripped twice over a bad thresshold. Breakfast was a bad joke, no hot food. AC was noisy, no closet space. The room did not feel clean. Not a $100 room.

Location had easy access with restaurants all around.

Building had no water. they first told me it would be fixed within the hour, 6 hours later, they gave up working on it for the night. I couldn't flush the toilet or shower the entire time i was there. They refused to give me a refund. The room smelt terrible. Tried to eat breakfast at 8am, they said they ran out. No breakfast. Asked to see or talk to a manager and i was told they are not allowed to give out that kind of information. The fire alarm was hanging by the wire and was disconnected. Lifted up the toilet seat and it fell off.

We came for breakfast at 8:40 and there was no food left. The fan did not work in the bathroom.

Easy to find. Close to the things I was there to do. Good water pressure and hot water.

Shower didn't work in bathroom. Bathroom fan and refrigerator were very noisy. Floor in room was warped up. Overflowing trash can outside room. For all that $150/day was excessive.

The motel did not appear full, however, all the guest were located in one section. The guest staying next to my room were up listening to music and having multiple visitors throughout the night. It did not feel safe and the offfice at night was not attended.

The front desk people were nice.

Weeds all over made it look sloppy, very outdated, bathroom light flickered on and off (mostly off), 1 vanity bulb working out of 3, the "dresser" drawer wouldn't stay shut so was always open all the way into the walkway to the bathroom, the pillow didn't even have a pillowcase on it, garbage can was overflowing at breakfast (which was advertised as breakfast but was Poptarts, cereal, and granola bars), the rate was easily 3x more than it was worth, the beds were basically a mattress on a frame a foot off the floor, the clock didn't work, the headboards were leaning on the wall, there was 1 washcloth. I could go on and on but I feel like this should give you a good idea of where not to stay.

Absolutely nothing… The owner of the hotel is an absolute jerk.

Nothing worked … the TV was unable to be replaced … they had no more rooms on the ground level … even though the rooms were empty, I guess that they had it many more maintenance issues than our room had.
