Enjoyed the amenities, hospitality, and deluxe suite. I will be returning!

We could tell when we arrived that the owner & employees take a lot of pride in their property. The grounds are beautiful! Unique flowering shrubs and flowers everywhere. Super clean and friendly staff. Very nice pool area. The room was clean and adequate. Being that the property is older, the bathroom is quite small. The bed was very comfortable, always a plus. Easy walk to restaurants casinos and the base of the Heavenly gondola. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we will return.

Be aware. Bears come out during the night.

Great property not far from the main areas in town and the lake front, can easily walk everywhere. Rooms are spacious and clean

Awesome sauce! Was skeptical about another South Lake Tahoe hotel that was overpriced, but this was worth it! Great location away from the main road, but very walkable. Room was very nice, especially the bathroom that was carefully decorated to give a nice balance of 'in the wilderness, but with a nice home'y vibe. Highly recommend, and first on my list for my next visit to SLT.

Nice grounds, but the studios need much updating.

After 4:00 pm the room was not ready and we had to wait. The hotel staff behavior was rude. They ran out of breakfast items. Lastly, one of the staff said we can check out late but later the other staff said no late check out and behaved rudely and said get out.

Location: 5/5 The resort’s biggest strength is its location—just steps from the lake and close to shops, trails, and restaurants. Perfect for exploring South Lake Tahoe. Amenities: 2/5 Amenities were disappointing. No bottled water in rooms, and the included breakfast was minimal with some food clearly reused from the previous day. Rooms were a good size but got uncomfortably hot in the summer with no proper cooling. Service: 3/5 Staff were polite but not particularly warm or attentive. Service was okay, but lacked the polish you'd expect from a resort. Pricing: 4/5 Fair price for the location, but not great value overall due to the lackluster amenities and average service. Overall: 3.5/5 Fantastic location, but the resort needs major improvement in comfort and guest experience to justify the cost.
