Really impressed with this hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds. Laid on a taxi service to collect us after a night in the centre. Good breakfast, lovely views, couldn’t fault it!

"Classy and welcoming with wonderful views over Salisbury"

This is a beautiful hotel and they were kind enough to give us one of their loveliest garden rooms with access directly onto the lawns and river overlooking the water meadows and cathedral. It was spectacular. I even wild swam from the park upstream from our hotel down to the hotel on our first day. Victoria at reception was welcoming and a very reassuring warm presence at the hotel. The terrace overlooking Salisbury couldn't have been much nicer. Breakfast was very good too. Other staff were also incredibly helpful like the young receptionist who went out of her way to find us a taxi yesterday at about 4pm. There weren't any available for ages but she kept trying. And the young woman who showed us to our room on arrival offered to help with our bags on stairs - we declined but took note! And gave us a lovely smile as she left us. Sorry not to have caught more names. We highly recommend this hotel. Classy and welcoming.

Very little not to like except that only half our towels were changed when the room was serviced and one of the 'fresh' towels had something sticky on it. But it's hardly fair to say that. Everything else was just perfect.

"For the money it was not good It would have been good value at half the amount"

It was very expensive for what we got

Breakfast was not great although we didn’t get down until 9ish and everything was stale
