Pestana Sintra Golf Conference & Spa Resort

Pestana Sintra Golf location is brilliant for us. Quiet & away from everything. There is a mall or shops around nearby which is 5 minutes away by drive. We are placed in a room with a veranda but no chairs & table to sit on. Some of the decor is tired and needs updating around the hotel as well as the rooms. Breakfast is sufficient but requires improvement. Otherwise, can book it again when visiting Portugal.

Easy drive into Sintra to visit the casrle and palace as well as to Caiscais and the beaches. Golf course is relatively flat but very well maintained. Great buffet breakfast.

Very nice hotel with lots nice facilities, the location is not to far from local amenities like supermarket and shopping malls, although not walking distance, taxi’s advised to get out and about. The room was big and spacious, but were assigned a disability room. A bit disappointed as we did not request this type of room, and especially as it came with 2 twin beds, when we are a couple, so hotel could of put some thought into the room they were giving to us. The beds and pillows were really poor, unable to sleep well for 6 nights and the tv was dated, something from the 90’s. All in all good hotel, would consider staying here again but there’s definitely room for improvement as far comfort of the hotel rooms itself is considered.

Nice hotel, the pool was a little small but we had everything we needed. No complaints here!

The buffet is very bad, we got friends sick because of some bad food. The service is also very slow, many times we had to wait more than 30 minutes to be served. Finally the reception is very unfriendly and the hotel is over occupied with queue on breakfast because of too many people.

The staff was fantastic. Everyone treated us very well. The managers are excellent, the people that work on the Kitchen and breakfast excellent. Everyone did the best to serve us. I had my own Lavazza coffee and every day I went to make my espresso for me and my fiancé. Everyone helped me and my fiancé. I highly recommend this hotel for any place in Portugal. We stayed in several Vila Gales, in Porto, Lisbon and Brazil. If you want just enjoy your vacations, just stay there. We live in Dallas US.

Not easy to find but once there the hotel is better than expected for the price with spacious rooms and leisure facilities, immediately adjacent to Beloura golf course. Food uninspiring, staff ok.

A car is a necessity if you are staying there. A good buffet is served in the morning with a wide variety. Personnally, I would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room.

Lovely hotel. It was our first night in Portugal and we picked a great starting place. We plan on staying there again on our next trip to Portugal. Thank you
