Definite Fawlty Towers vibes but this old building is clearly in need of modernisation and a lick of paint.

The wifi was atrocious. It didn’t matter if you used the free version or the so-called premium, it was so slow as to be useless.

The Hotel was clean, the room large and comfortable.

The toilet had been fitted to far back to the cistern and therefore the seat cover wouldn't stay up when opened. The room was a bit warm.

"The Cairn Hotel was a good stay and a beautiful hotel."

The breakfast was very nice however service members not real friendly or happy. The bed in the room was very comfortable. In addition, the location was nice and the hotel had a wonderful green space for our two small dogs. The building is absolutely beautiful.

There are a couple things that I would like to mention. First the shower would NOT get hot only warm. The bed was quite comfortable however the pillows need replacing. The staff definitely did not seem to be happy working there, maybe the culture?
