Hotel Miraparque

stayed a week in this hotel, overall a very nice place to stay, close to town center and Metro line. Staff very helpfull Only coment to make is that the Breakfast could do with a bit of variety as it a bit samey every day.

The Miraparque hotel was the right fit for me. It has a great location in the Pombal section of Lisbon within a 20 minute walk to the centre of the city and a few blocks from the excellent Lisbon Metro. Our room was clean and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job of making up our room on our second day. The air conditioning worked well too. Breakfast was included but beware of going there between 9 and 10:00 as it was a chaotic experience. Despite the crush of people there were still a few tables available. The staff did a good job of keeping the buffet stocked but it was easy to see that it was a bit tough on them. It would have been nice to have had an extra staff person on at that time. My only comment from an aesthetic point of view was that our room was void of any real décor element such as some pictures on the wall which made the room feel cold. A small touch would have made the difference. I would definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was close to town, had a great breakfast buffet. It was clean and neat, and the staff was accommodating.

This hotel is in a great location next to a beautiful park and the Metro stop of Parque -so easy to get around and into the mix of things. The staff were very helpful with advice re travel -recommendations for restaurants etc. Nice buffet breakfast options ( including gluten free ) although my fellow travellers told me that the coffee out of machines was not so good! And the small bar was great for a nightcap -and very reasonably priced.

A beautiful hotel with delicious breakfasts! The bar stays open until midnight. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Nice area quite but not to far away from the main areas about a 1/2 hour walk so need for a car staff are fair not great Warning watch cab drivers that are hailed for you by staff my cab back to the airport was a rip off $23 euro driver told me this was because of a Sunday surcharge which is a lie don't rely on the hotel to get you an honest cab ride better off hailing one yourself

close to the parque metro stop which takes you all over the city. Clean rooms and an okay breakfast.

Nice, quaint room. Most of the staff was pretty helpful, with the exception of one of the ladies that worked the front desk who seemed to like to argue and try to make the customer feel like they should just be okay with having the wrong tour booked by another staff member...like it was somehow my fault for not noticing it to begin with? Also scolding customers on the phone in the morning. When you are visiting a foreign country and don't speak the language, you are hoping that where you are staying is the one place where you can get reliable help. Although I realize that she wasn't responsible for the errors in my tour booking and tour departure information, it would be nice to not make customers more agitated about an already unpleasant situation!

Did full tour of lisbon and trip on train to sintra where you can get local tour bus to historic buildings for 5 euro per route for hop on off. Pre booked train to faro for rest of holiday in algarve 3hr journey 1st class very comfortable
