Hotel Miraparque

Very enjoyable, great staff, all very helpful

3rd stay at the Miraparque. What I like best is the quite. Close to everything, but off the main streets.

The hotel room on this occasion was much better than the previous one we had in January. Overlooking the park as against the air conditioning units and local car parking. All for the same price, so a pleasant stay.

Having stayed at this hotel last year,we expected a similar pleasant room and location(overlooking the park) on this occasion we we're allocated a box room over looking the air conditioning units general storage area and local resident car parking. The room it's self was clean and tidy and recently refurbished. The problem we experienced was between the hours of 07.30am and 17.30pm, bearing in mind we we're out of the room for most of our stay, workmen were working in a room very close to ours, so all we heard was the noise of hammering and wood working tools. Upon arrival the staff did not mention work taking place in the hotel or for a matter of fact did Expedia. The room rate for the night was 50.00 euros with out buffet breakfast, having since looked at other hotel rates I believe we could have avoided the noise and small room and stayed in a better hotel for the same money. Overall, the hotel is conveniently located for the city and transport links, buyer beware of ongoing work in the hotel

Hotel location was away from the centre, but pleasant walking down town and handy for underground transport back to hotel. Breakfast could do with some improvements like fresh juice and sausages that don't taste like soap. Excellent beds and quiet aircon. Staff very friendly and English spoken almost every where.

Helpful, friendly staff. Hotel on hill by Eduardo VIi Pargue but close-by Metro Blue Line & short walk to Yellow line or tourist bus stop & few good places to eat nearby. Clean rooms & great full breakfast served

Excellent position near park and metro. Staff are very helpful. After reading reviews I expected a below std. breakfast but it was a good breakfast, very reasonably priced indeed. Nothing to complain about.

Good location with nice park views. Nearby metro station and not to far walk into town. Rooms comfortable and very clean with newly refurbished shower rooms. Breakfast good. Staff were excellent and confidently multilingual (English, French and Italian at least) - I had no problems needing assistance but overheard staff helping guests with transport difficulties, making phone calls for them, advising patiently on getting around Lisbon etc. Only quibble is wi-fi which only worked beside reception, not in the rooms. You can also hear aircraft when windows are open but this will be true over much of Lisbon as airport is virtually in the city.

First time in Lisbon. Found people very friendly, city felt safe at night. Public transport good, especially metro which seemed empty compared with London. Enjoyed restaurants and especially Fado music bars and restaurant.
