Convenient and quiet, nice parking area

Shower would not stay on hot, handle kept falling down. We had to hold it for the other person as they showered.

Location

Called ahead before leaving home to find out if we could check-in early because we needed to get ready / dressed for a wedding. Was told that we could. Arrived and the lazy front desk person said check-in wasn't until 3:00 pm. Mind you, it was now 1:15 pm and there were only 6 cars in the parking lot. No offer to call housekeeping to check if there were any completed rooms ready. We sat in the lobby until 2:30. Still no rooms ready. Ended up getting dressed in shifts in hotel lobby bathroom. Ridiculous. Lazy customer no-service. Uninspired and just sucking a paycheck for minimum effort. When we came back from the wedding and checked in at 10pm, a different front desk attendant was there and very pleasant. And the sweet lady preparing and maintaining the breakfast service was nice too. Funny how one bad apple can sour the whole experience.

Comfortable bed and good breakfast.

There was a weird smell in the hallway and room. The floor in the bathroom and foyer were sticky.

The staff was pleasant, the property was clean and comfortable.

Property was a little difficult to find.

This hotel needs a deep down cleaning. My plastic room key was sticky. There was something splashed on the nightstand. The desk area was gummy. I had to wash down all of them. The brown bed skirt was stained as well as the desk chair. The bathroom sink faucet was about one inch from the edge of the sink and thus splashed all over the place when you used it. The light fixture over the nightstand was rusted and very dusty. There are other hotels in the area. Hopefully they are cleaner. I was really disappointed in this Hampton Inn.

Walls and tub were stained. The hotel rooms also need an update and maintenance repairs.
