Hampton Inn Troy

This hotel needs a deep down cleaning. My plastic room key was sticky. There was something splashed on the nightstand. The desk area was gummy. I had to wash down all of them. The brown bed skirt was stained as well as the desk chair. The bathroom sink faucet was about one inch from the edge of the sink and thus splashed all over the place when you used it. The light fixture over the nightstand was rusted and very dusty. There are other hotels in the area. Hopefully they are cleaner. I was really disappointed in this Hampton Inn.

Walls and tub were stained. The hotel rooms also need an update and maintenance repairs.

Breakfast was amazing, location was great.

Beds suck, afternoon staff sucks, rust in the rooms, water in the shower felt SLIMY.

I liked the location of the hotel. I came for a graduation at Troy University and it wasn’t far from the college. It was quiet at night during sleep hours and that’s always important when traveling and staying at hotels.

I didn’t like that the elevator was down. The lady at the front said it was down for two weeks and I think that’s unacceptable when people in coming in and out of town. I saw a lot of older couples having to carry their luggage up the stairs. I also didn’t like that the pool was very dirty, my son wanted to swim but I told him it wanted to safe to swim in a pool that wasn’t clean.

Best breakfast I've had at a hotel! The staff was super and nice. All of the extra little features in the rooms and bathrooms to make things easily accessible were really nice.

The floors were a little dirty and a couple spots in bathroom looked like mildew or mold. Also would have liked a variety of pillows all were the same and not very comfortable.
